BBC Music Sound Of 2015: James Bay takes second place

James Bay has come second in the BBC Music Sound Of 2015 new music list, which aims to showcase the rising stars to watch in the year ahead.

The list was compiled by 139 UK-based tastemakers - the majority of whom are from newspapers, magazines, blogs and commercial radio and TV. We are revealing one artist from the top five in reverse order every day until Friday, when the winner will be announced.

James - who comes from Hitchin in Hertfordshire - says he was originally inspired by blues music. BBC News met up with James in New York's Central Park.
