If you know anything about new music you're sure to have heard the banging beats of H Two O's 'What's It Gonna Be', featuring Platnum.

The dance track recently sprang into the charts impressively reaching the number two spot.

Founded by Solution and Oz (real names Selim and Simon), the DJ outfit has been making music the last three years.

Their current popular hit was first recorded 18 months ago in the toilets of a Nottingham pub where Selim was living.

The duo are now signed to top dance label Ministry of Sound, a situation far away from their days working in Leicester retail:

"From trainer shop to top of the chart - it's a bit weird."

H Two O are already club favourites.

Spreading the Love

Solution and Oz are now looking to work with other local artists to get them out there and create new distinctive sounds:

"We're in a great position now where we've somehow managed to get into the mainstream and there's a lot of great homegrown talent right here in Leicester and throughout the whole of the Midlands.

"We're really looking forward to working with artist who are on MySpace, they're singing in small bars or clubs, and they're not getting themselves noticed by the general public.

"We're now in a position where we could work with them and take them to that next level."
