World's oldest shipwreck 世界上已知最古老的沉船残骸

The ancient wreck was found off the coast of Kekova Island, with artefactsscattered across an underwater slope.

这艘古代沉船位于凯考瓦岛附近海域，船上的文物散落在一处水下斜坡上。

Divers discovered three large stone anchors and more than 30 ceramic storage pots, which are called amphorae.

潜水员发现了三个大型石锚以及 30 多个陶制储物罐。这些储物罐被叫作 “双耳细颈瓶”。

The distinctive shape of these ceramics – the pots have two handles, a ridge around the middle and a flat bottom – have been used to date the ship to between 4,400 and 4,700 years old, which was the Early Bronze Age. 

这些陶器具有独特的外形——储物罐带有两个把手，中部环绕着一道凸棱，底部平坦。考古学家正是根据这些特征推断，这艘沉船距今约 4400 年到 4700 年，可追溯至青铜时代早期。
