Editing Shrek

Hollywood film editor Sim Evan-Jones, from Faversham, still enjoys watching the films he helped to create even though he knows all the trade secrets.

Shrek

Working on such filmic greats as Shrek, Narnia and Madagascar, Sim Evan-Jones has spent the last 12 years living in Hollywood.

He now prefers a quieter life and has based himself in Faversham. He talks about his favourite moments whilst editing Narnia and Shrek and how he started in the business.

A career in Hollywood

He recently took time out of his busy schedule to visit St Saviour's Primary School, in Westgate-on-Sea, where the pupils have formed their own film club.
