Sorcas na nDreancaidí includes games which teach children about forces. Help the fleas complete their tricks involving cannons, custard pies, trapezes and trampolines successfully! The aim is to choose the correct amount of force needed to propel them each time.
These games show how varying the strength of a force (pushing) can change the speed and direction of a moving object.
The child is given constructive feedback by the ring-master when unsuccessful.
The user is allowed to experiment and make mistakes but must succeed three times and win three fleas in order to complete a level.
As the levels increase in difficulty, the child must deal with more variables within the games.
The circus includes 4 different games The Amazing Flea Tower (Carn Iontach na nDreancaidí), The Fabulous Flying Flea (An Dreancaid Éachtach Eitleach), The Custard Pie Carousel (Comórtas na bPióg Chustaird ) and The Flea Trapeze (Luascán na nDreancaidí). When the child successfully completes a level they will be awarded a 'star'. These stars can be put onto the film strip to make a film of the circus in 'The Grand Finale' (An Finale Mór).
