Irishon the BBC
There is good news for those who are interested in the Gaelic language and culture of Scotland. The music and idiom of South Uist will soon be heard regularly on BBC Radio Ulster.
Every Wednesday at 7 pm from the 4th of July onwards for 10 weeks a new series of ‘Blas’ will be presented by Morag MacDonald, the renowned Hebridean host of the programme ‘Mire ri Móir’ on BBC’s Scottish Gaelic service. As the BBC’s press officer said: ‘She knows her likes and we know she’s lively. Listen in to her choice of music.’
