A new centre for the Irish speaking community will open in Newry this Autumn.
The Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail Project from Blas available since 5th March 2012
The Trustees of the Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail project hope to open a new centre for the Irish speaking community in Newry this Autumn. Séamas Mac Dhaibhéid from the Newry Branch of Conradh na Gaeilge, and a friend of Tomás Mac Ardghail, explains the history and background of the site as construction work continues. Ursula Mhic an tSaoir from Newry and Mourne Council talks about the Council’s involvement in the project and describes the Irish language community in the area.
