My father served on the glenroy,
(See MY WEBSITE which I am still playing with.)
1940 to 1942 when the ship went back to Carlisle for repairs.My father stayed on in Egypt.
I am trying to obtain photos of the Ship in that timeframe.I have been successful in reuniting my father with a fellow shipwright JOHN (AKA) Jackie Hammerton.who i believe stayed with the Glenroy.
I have further stories in the eventful life of the Glenroy, But if you can help out with what happened to the ship in Scicily or D day, I would appreciate contact.
