I was in HW Troop, 47 RM Commando.
Trained at Achnacarry late 1943.
Took part in D-Day landings and then onwards and upwards to Walcheren operation.
Demobbed 1946.
Have now lived in Adelaide S.Australia since 1966. As with all us oldies we remember the distant past better than we can remember last week.
