Why We Care About Chalk Streams
Fiona Stephenson
Silver-Gilt
Fiona has recreated a chalk stream complete with surrounding ecosystem to celebrate the WWF’s 50th anniversary. Keen to raise awareness of the plight of our chalk streams due to our over-abstraction of groundwater, Fiona has used hidden messages throughout the garden including a giant plug to illustrate just how easy it is to drain this precious ecosystem.
