The Naked Garden
David Domoney
Silver
This minimalist entertaining space uses cubes to unite all elements of the design from seating area to plant pot. However, there’s more to see in this garden. By using see-through containers and nutrient-filled water David has exposed the underground workings of plants to entertain and educate visitors.

Models in the Naked Garden where plants show off their roots, like the see-through pond full of water hyacinths
Eichhornia crassipes - Water hyacinth (NB this is listed on Schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act. It is an offence to plant or otherwise cause to grow in the wild invasive non-native plants listed on Schedule 9.)
Cyperus papyrus – papyrus
