I Am Because of Who We Are
Caroline Comber with Petra Horackova
Gold & Best Show Garden
Using a variety of interlocking steel circles, Caroline and Petra have created a space which they hope represents the need for worldwide collaboration in order to strengthen the international community. Where single species beds cross over so the species they contain cross over. Stipas mix with astrantia and penstemon whilst birch add height and dappled shade.

Photo: Shadows of Betula albosinensis 'Fascination' fall on the back wall, their stems mirror the colour of the rusted metal beds.

Photo: Metal seating with Rodgersia podophylla - Rodgers' bronze-leaf and Sanguisorba officinalis 'Red Thunder' behind.

Photo: Briza media - common quaking grass casts a delicate shadow on rusted metal, the colour of which is picked up by Digitalis parviflora 'Milk Chocolate' and contrasted by the green of Onoclea sensibilis - sensitive fern
