Marconi exhibition in Chelmsford

A modern art exhibition about Marconi is talking place in Chelmsford in the new year. Artist Elaine Tribly is working with 11 others to get the project off the ground.

The first ever art exhibition, inspired by the radio pioneer Marconi, will open in Chelmsford in January.

All the artists involved are from Essex and the modern art on show will range from video to sound to sculpture, and will even feature a garden shed.

A disused shop in the High Chelmer mall will be transformed into an art gallery for the two week exhibition which opens on 18, January, 2008.

Essex artist and curator of the exhibition, Elaine Tribley has been working with arts project manager for Essex County Council, Lindsey Strange.
