Julian and Sandra begin their affair.Rob takes a private boat with his girlfriend Natasha and his friends and the boat crashes. They are later rescued.Duffy has a cervical cancer biopsy and the results are negative.Duffy gets in touch with AndrewJulian urges Sandra to leave her husband but she can't.Julian quits after Simon ignores his pleas to set up a modern trauma unit. The team go for Christmas meal at an Indian restaurant.Rob and Max kiss and Duffy invites Charlie to share her turkey.Ash and Nikki make up and she discovers she's pregnant.Andrew rejoins the team and meets his son, Peter for the first time.A man attempts to strangle Josh and knife Jane. Nikki aborts her and Ash's baby.Ash's promoted to senior staff nurse.Norma's mother dies.Charlie's diagnosed with depression and collapses in his office from stress.Josh and Jane are contaminated after a van carrying radioactive isotopes scatters near them.A nuclear specialist insists the unit be hosed down and closed done.Andrew asks Duffy to marry him and she accepts.Youths break into the basement and start a fire. They petrol bomb an ambulance which blasts the reception and crash.The patients are taken outside and firemen battle the blaze. Duffy and Charlie believe it is the end for A&E.
