Series Overview
Julian and Duffy fly by helicopter to rescue a young group of outward bounders. Beth faces an inquest on the cancer patient she deliberately didn't resuscitate but no negligence is found.Charlie meets Trish at a bereavement counselling session. Kelly's reprimanded by Duffy and Charlie for her lax attitude.Julian's promoted to consultant.Duffy has a new boyfriend called Paul.A plane travelling back from Greece crashes... 
Ash is punched and assaulted in reception. Kelly overdoses on a lethal cocktail of drugs and alcohol and dies.Jimmy and Julian fancy Sandra. Duffy ends her relationship with Paul after he fails to persuade her to quit nursing.Trish's attacked by an angry woman.
