  2. A man wrapped in an orange plastic coverall hugs a brown Belgian Malinois, coming out of a red rescue hoist. The two are surrounded by five coastguard team members, who are wearing high visibility clothing and helmets. They are all at the top of a grass covered cliff overlooking the sea, with houses in the distance.

  4. A two-storey grey house with a pitched roof sits partially hidden behind dense green shrubs and trees. Overhanging branches frame the top of the image, and the house is viewed from a slightly lower angle against a cloudy, overcast sky. The scene appears rural and surrounded by mature vegetation.

  5. A two-storey new-build detached house in Darlington. It is red-brick and mimics a cottage style, with sections either side of an arched entrance porch. The door, windows and double garage doors are all green. The garage sits at a right angle to the front of the house, obscuring the downstairs window on the right. The garage for presumably a neighbouring property sits to the left of the house and has a brown roller-shutter door. A workman in an orange hi-vis and white hard hat has his back to the camera and appears with a wheelbarrow in the small gap between the house and its double garage. High trees can be seen behind the house, one of which has partially collapsed into the roof, creating a large hole in it. Cut branches are piled up in the front garden

  6. A police officer walks into a house painted red. The house has Georgian-style windows and is located on a hill. Outside is a concrete pavement

  7. St Paul's Church in Seaton. The entrance of the historic building has collapsed and brickwork covers on the pathway in the church yard.

  8. Blencathra's Sharp Edge. A picture taken from the top of Blencathra looking down at Sharp Edge. The ridge is surrounded by steep drops on either side and is very rocky.

  9. Rob Stephenson stands outside in his garden wearing a black and red fleece and has a shaved head. He has his hands on two large wooden owl boxes.

  10. The B5299 road between Brow Nelson and Holly Lodge, near Dalston, south of Carlisle. There are lots of traffic cones and a sign which reads 'New Roundabout Ahead'. In the background is another road, crossing a bridge.

  11. Two Coastguard members, wearing fluorescent waterproofs, life jackets and overalls, wait beside a dead northern bottlenose whale which has washed up on Flimby beach. The sea looks stormy and the whale is on its back.

  12. A toppled tree in Central Avenue, South Shields. The large trunk has been sheared off and has landed in the middle of the road. It has fallen after a storm.

  13. Ballerina waxcap fungi. It is a violet mushroom with a pale white stem. The fungi grows in a grassy meadow terrain.

  14. A man and a woman running through a wooded area. The picture is taken from ground level. The woman is wearing a blue top with black running vest and black leggings, while the man wears black shorts and a white windbreaker and light blue cap.

  15. A bearded man is in the foreground with a village green, road with cars and beyond them a rural view of fields and hills in the background. He is wearing a green-brown jacket with a remembrance poppy pinned to the front.

  16. Three fossa pups. One of them has turned on its side and is looking at the camera over its shoulder. They have dark grey fur and look like cats, with big brown eyes.

  17. A fallen tree on the A697 in Thrunton, Northumberland. The tree trunk is large and thick and has been partly chainsawed as it is blocking the road, with a car parked behind it. The road sits in between some woodland.

  18. A headtorch lights up the side of a valley near Upper Esk. It is night and looks like cold conditions. A person can be seen on the edge of a ravine and a large steep crag can be seen opposite the gully.

  19. A close up of two of the clock faces of Big Ben. It is a large, ornamental clock with gold and black detailing on the top of the brown Elizabeth Tower. The black clock hands are showing a time of quarter past two. Along the top of the clock face are small red and white St George's Cross flags.

  20. A kestrel stares down the barrel of the camera. The kestrel has light beige feathers with small brown flecks in it. It has bright hazel, beady eyes.

  21. Frank Lee smiling into the camera with his arms crossed in front of his chest. He has short, white hair and a white beard and is wearing rectangular glasses. He is wearing an orange and green checked shirt with black braces around his shoulders. He has a small black microphone clipped to his chest. He is standing in his workshop and behind him there is an array of tools and equipment with wooden handles. It is very cluttered.

  22. Handmade fantasy animal mask displayed on a white plinth. The mask is painted in warm shades of orange, red, and yellow, with a long narrow snout, large pointed ears, and bright blue eye details. Decorative paper leaves with white vein patterns form a mane around the head, while blue feather-like antlers extend upward from either side. Craft materials and feathers are visible around the base, suggesting an art or workshop setting.

  23. A group of rescuers, with bright red coats and equipment strapped to their backs, are helping a woman wade through a running river with foam on the water glistening by their torchlight. Both her hands are being held by the rescuers as she walks forward in a thick, black coat with the hood up. Around the light of this scene, beyond the shadows cast against stony rocks, everything is pitch black.

  24. Two women with blonde hair in sunglasses and coats. The woman on the right is holding a red placard which reads Protect Our Wildlife. There are drawings of trees and a red squirrel on it. The woman on the left is holding a red squirrel cuddly toy. They are standing outside, in front of some bushes and are smiling.
