Pudsey Bear and his friends here at BBC Children in Need in Cornwall want to know what you're planning for this year's event on Friday 20 November 2009. Each year people in Cornwall do some crazy things to raise money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal. Many events were held throughout the county on Friday 14 November 2008 for BBC Children in Need. There were talent shows, sleepovers, a big bed push and so much more. Take a look back at some of the CIN events staged in Cornwall in 2008:  Pudsey Bear It's been nearly a year since you helped Pudsey raise a record breaking £37.8 million nationally, and now the famous bear is back, bringing a special friend with him. Blush is Pudsey's best friend. She has arrived to lend a helping paw to Pudsey and together they will be busy bears, organising this year's fantastic Appeal night show and helping disadvantaged children across the UK. In the South West the total raised on the night was more than £528,000, a record for the region.
