There were talent shows, sleepovers, a big bed push and so much more...Take a look back at events already held to raise the pounds for Pudsey... The motto from Pudsey for this year's BBC Children in Need was 'Do Something Different' and people all over Cornwall certainly got involved. BBC Cornwall's Matt Shepherd was out and about with his old mate Pudsey, see the pictures of some of the many events taking place in the county. The Home Comforts Team left their offices behind on Children in Need day to push an old bed, with people under the blankets, from Porthtowan Beach to Penryn, via Scorrier, Carharrack, and Lanner. The team were hoping their four hour marathon would raise lots of money for BBC Children in Need. BBC Cornwall visited Porthtowan to launch the bed push, hear Matt Shepherd's report: Help playing audio/video At Falmouth School the youngsters swapped the classroom for the canteen as they received a lesson in cookery from two of the town's top chefs, Sanjay Kumar from the Greenbank Hotel and Chris Taylor from the 2-Ten restaurant. But it wasn't just a case of cooking some food for demonstration. All the youngster's efforts were enjoyed by a full restaurant of people who had paid the pounds for Pudsey to allow them to enjoy the freshly prepared meals. BBC Cornwall's Matt Shepherd reports from Falmouth School: Help playing audio/video Probus near Truro is full of talented people, so the local school decided to shout it from the roof tops. The school council, made up of pupils, took a vote and agreed to put on a Probus Has Got Talent show, for the youngsters and the teachers. On the night of Friday 14 November people of all ages planned to take part, and then enjoy a sleepover at the school. BBC Cornwall's Matt Shepherd went along to meet some of the talented Probus youngsters: Help playing audio/video Down in west Cornwall the youngsters and teachers turned back the hands of time to celebrate Mounts Bay School's 50th anniversary. On Friday evening they held a big party featuring performances from West Side Musical, which originally came out in the year the school was opened. Philip Raymond brought along his fairground organ which plays 300 tunes. People paid a donation to BBC Children in Need to hear their chosen song.
