Nick Burns's versatility has meant that you'll have that vague feeling you recognise him from somewhere. You do - his career has skyrocketed recently.
A veteran of Open Air Shakespeare in Regent's Park, Burns worked his way up the BBC ladder with bit parts in EastEnders, ManChild and Swiss Toni.
But in 2005 he had a main role in Absolute Power and became the titular Nathan Barley, and his comic leanings were confirmed. Now he is cropping up in cameos (bit parts for famous people) on The Mighty Boosh and Nighty Night.
He also recently starred in BBC2's Roman's Empire.
