Method 🪩

🚨 Be careful when using kitchen appliances. Ask a grown-up to help you! 🚨

  1. First, add the peanut butter, dates, cocoa powder and maple syrup to a food processor. Blend until the mixture forms a thick dough.

  2. Tip the mixture into a bowl and use a tablespoon to scoop out even-sized portions. Roll each spoonful into a ball and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

  3. Put the balls in the fridge and chill for 1 hour.

  4. After an hour, remove the balls from the fridge and carefully push a kebab stick into each one so they look like lollipops. Take care with the pointy ends of the sticks.

  5. Melt the chocolate (ask a grown-up to help with this step). Gently dip each ball into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to make sure it is completely coated.

  6. Place each stick into an empty egg box to help the snacks dry. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle on the edible stars and spray with edible glitter to create your glitterball effect.

  7. Next, decorate a piece of cardboard, such as an old shoebox, to create your own Strictly dance floor. You can also print and colour in this template.

  8. Once the chocolate has completely set, push the glitterball snacks into the dance floor and serve them at your Strictly party!
