Where were you born?

What was your favourite hobby as a kid?
Chattin' shizzle. It's a science and an artform. Trust me it ain't as easy as it looks.
How you got into being a DJ/presenter?
My cousin was in a sound back in the day. During summer holidays I was their box-boy. He influenced me into collecting records and getting into DJing.
Your biggest influences?
Family (corny but true).
Biggest achievements?
Sony Gold Award for the Ace & Vis show and 100% attendance in Year Eight.
Key tune that inspired you and favourite lyric?
A Tribe Called Quest's Electric Relaxation. My Favourite tune from my favourite group on my favourite album.

Not the best lyric in the world but it makes me smile.
Your dream gig or collaboration?
A Jay-Z, Nas and Mary J Blige album. Premo, Pete Rock and Timbaland on production.

Telly, making and watching it

The bagel shop. Always one last opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex over a chicken pattie in coco bread.
Favourite piece of clothing and why?
Cosby Show T-shirt. No bigger Cosby Show fan in the world. As a kid I could recite the dialogue to every episode word for word.
What has been your favourite year so far? And why?
1997. Can't tell you why, but it was kinda wild!
You see your friend's boyfriend/girlfriend kissing someone else. What do you do?
Laugh. Then blackmail them.

What is your favourite hobby?
My job is my hobby, I also like travelling.
Your favourite present as a kid?
Spiderman outfit. It made me the most popular boy at primary school, and helped me get all the girls.
How you got into being a DJ/presenter?
I went to the the BRIT School for Performing Arts, heard about 1Xtra and sent in a demo.
Your biggest influences?
Coming from a one-parent family.
Biggest achievements?
Landing a show on 1Xtra and getting a Sony Gold Award for it. Getting a football contract. Getting into the BRIT School for Performing Arts. The Ace & Invisible on Radio 1 shows. Ace & Invisible Presents (grime acts performing with a live band), a MOBO nomination and creating the Illout show are the only things I can mention at this point.
Key tune that inspired you and favourite lyric?
London Posse "How's Life in London" - never heard nothing like it before, then I saw the video on Yo MTV Raps. It inspired me to get involved in the music game.

Sizzla, Redman, Busta Rhymes, Sade, Jill Scott and Dennis Brown.

Everything involves music, mate.

No rules. You live and you learn, innit.

Ken Livingston; pay back for all the congestion charge fines and parking tickets I've had to pay.
When did you last flop as a DJ?
Never happened and will never happen.

The most important part of an outfit has to be trainers, I have too many trainers to pick my favourite.

I always regard the present year as my favourite. Otherwise you end looking back and not forward to the future
