Are you based in or around Boston, Lincolnshire? Would you like to write a short play and see it performed at Blackfriars Theatre?

During this eight-week course, led by an award-winning scriptwriter, learners will explore the foundations of writing scripts, whilst developing their creative voice.
Each week they will focus on a different aspect (dialogue, theme, setting, structure, action, planning and the redrafting process) and a range of other topics including how to get inspired. Sessions will be delivered through discussion, reading scripts and creative writing exercises, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
By week eight, you will aim to have written a short script you can be proud of, which will be performed script-in-hand by actors, as part of an end-of-course celebration sharing.
All levels of experience welcome. Workshop space fully accessible.
