Sadie Devani is the winner of the End of Westway competition.
Sadie's name will be mentioned, on air, in the final episode. She will also receive a wind-up radio, together with a copy of the final script signed by the writer, producer and cast. The runners up, who will receive Westway goodie bags, are Graham Bancroft, for his marvellous version of My Way; Robert Flood, whose ending is sheer Hollywood; Barbara Canary, with a couple of uncanny predictions; Bob Johnson, for resurrecting Fizza the hero; and Masanaka Takashima, for giving us all hope.
All the entries were fantastic, and many of them were accompanied by moving tributes to the special place Westway holds in the hearts and minds of its listeners, for which we are very grateful. We'd like to thank everyone for contributing ideas, and hope that the real ending matches the wit, heroism, and excitement of their own.
