Two more African teams crashed out of the World Cup last night.

Nigeria failed to win against South Korea, ending their World Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw.

Hosts South Africa played their last match against former world champions France and came away with a 2-1 victory, but it was not enough to see them through to the second round.

BBC Network Africa's Peter Ndoro discussed the impact of South Africa's exit with Mazola Molofe, a football reporter with the Sowetan Newspaper.
