Florence and the Machine were thrust mainstream shortly after being discovered through the BBC Introducing initiative. Florence Mary Leontine Welch has drawn comparisons to Kate Bush and contemporary lyricists Adele and Amy Winehouse, she has a truly unique and eccentric style to distinguish her from the rest.
