Rage Against The Machine

**WHY NO FOOTAGE IS AVAILABLE*
Sorry that we are unable to broadcast Rage Against The Machine. The BBC was not given clearance to film.

Anyway, on with the biog...

Rage Against the Machine, is an American rock band, formed in Los Angeles, California in 1991. The band's continual members are vocalist Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk. Rage Against the Machine is noted for its blend of hip hop, heavy metal, punk and funk as well as its revolutionary politics and lyrics. Rage Against the Machine drew inspiration from early metal instrumentation, as well as rap acts such as Public Enemy and Afrika Bambaataa. The group's music is distinguished primarily by de la Rocha's rhyming styles and powerful stage energy, and Morello's unorthodox guitar techniques.

Rage were awesome! It'd be great to see the set again on TV but somehow the gig seems more special because they can't broadcast it... Properly once in a lifetime! Besides, it's not like anyone has the right to see their set. If the band don't want to be on TV then that's their call. It's unfair to say they're hypocrites too. They've got something to say to the world and found a platform which allows them to do it. At the end of the day, they don't have to agree with the corporate policies of the companies involved because what they stand for is so far removed from them.My guess is that they're just trying to get their message out. It wouldn't necessarily work on TV because it would be edited and screwed around to make for entertaining viewing... not exactly what they're gunning for. In their shoes, you'd probably do the same.

Pedro
I do agree with most comments posted, that they have done well in not allowing the broadcast of their set. But, and this is a big one, i've attempted to get tickets for any of the festivals they are going to be for their reforming tour but have been totally budgeted out!.. How about us, the little people that can't aford to go! The fans like myself that followed them for years and years... I can't bare the pain of not attending any of the gigs, i would at least have gotten some satisfaction from seing them even on the box!.. What if i'll never get a chance to see them again!.. Wouldn't they at least allow one of the tunes to be broadcast? I'm not asking for much, just a single tune, perhaps Bullet in the Head my favourite.. Please Zack and co let us, the less able ones, be able to enjoy your wonderful work!..

all these so called fans moaning. if you are major rage fans. buy a ticket. i was dying to see rage and at the first chance got a ticket. do the same next time, dont expect everything to given to u. what an amazing performance. freedom and bullet in the head encore...what a show!!! plus if the bbc did show it, they would have stopped it as soon as zac said his bit during sleep now in the fire. buy ticket if you wont too see an amazing band!!!

liveon35mm.com
considering that Rage's review are scarce if any of their entire tour, and I doubt they banned reviewer, I tend to believe there is something strange in this story. Probably they just don't want TV to manipulate a wrong message as Fox TV did last year.I'll be waiting for an official review.

Patrick
I went, they were awesome. The greatest ever show I've seen, and kudos for them for refusing broadcast. They have been misrepresented by the media so often I think its understandable they don't want the bbc to show them - these shows are purely for the fans who attend. Bravo Rage!

Mmmm
I really don't get some of the people of here accusing RATM of being sell outs if they themselves are refusing to allow the show to be broadcast, if anything this makes them more respectable as huge corporations such as the BBC etc are having to pay for these performances to be filmed etc. RATM are just making sure they aren't sourcing another poor cause but keeping themselves to themselves and leaving the show more personal to ones that actually attended the festival. I really can't see RATM releasing a DVD, or another album, this is practically just a reforming tour, however I would gladly welcome a new album. To all the people criticising the apparent actions of RATM, think before you type and try and work out what you are saying because a lot, not the majority, but a lot of people on here are themselves hypocrites...

Dave
This isn't the BBC's fault you idiots - Rage just won't allow broadcast of their performances. Up to the band at the end of the day, I hope Rage allow the BBC some Reading footage but I wouldn't expect it...

Antony
This really isn't anything to do with the BBC. Rage haven't allowed a single broadcast since they got back together, though I do hope they change their mind on that eventually.

Jim Banks
I think everybody should have a warm glass of milk and a nap and calm themselves down about RATM not being on iplayer

BBC @ T On The Web
**MESSAGE TO THE FANS FROM A HUMBLE BBC PORTAKABIN AT BALADO* We are truly sorry that we are unable to broadcast any footage at all of Rage Against The Machine. The band's management have not given us permission to do so. Most of the website team are actually fans of the band ourselves and would love to let you all see them! The best we can do is give you a photo gallery.

Roddy
So from what I can tell, RATM have refused permission just like Green Day did when they had a future DVD release on the horizon. So, you're anti-right wing, yet you signed to Sony, and now you're refusing a public-service broadcaster permission to show your performance. They better have a good excuse; I'm pretty disappointed.

Liam
I think the BBC makes out like RATM don't want broadcasting and there's nothing they can do about it and it isn't their fault. I think it could be something to do with the BBC reporting news stories from every country in the world and adapting them so that the public only see what the BBC want them to see. When RATM talk about political powers brainwashing people the BBC is one of those! I know, i know i sound like i'm ranting. But it is true. The BBC couldn't be trusted to prtray RATM honestly, as soon as RATM say something that upsets our government the BBC will be alting them left right and centre because they politically involved in a government that RATM fight against. I say good on them! You don't need to see them on TV you just need to make your point in forums like these!

Jonny
just to let you know. it is because the bbc is run by the government and Rage did not want their music to promote anything the government is doing

awsome
i agree so what if they dont wanna brodcast bye a ticket its so much better that watching it on tv

Johno
To be honest, I'm glad Rage didn't show their performance on television, as i feel it was too good to be shown to anyone with a TV. I was at T in the park, along with thousands of others that went to see them, and it was the best set i have ever seen. "HAHA" to all those that didn't see them for any reason.

Oliver
After going to Rock The Bells Festival in New York City last year to see Rage, I knew what to expect. A kick ass show which was absolutley mental and it was, especially in songs such as Know Your Enemy. But despite Rage playing with passion and fury, they just don't retain that fire and glow they had when they were in their youth. Now it seems they have just turned into this mega stadium band along with acts like Metallica, Oasis, you name it. I don't think I will ever get to see them play a raw gig where they bust out classics like Township Rebellion and Fistfull of Steel, but I guess that time has past. Due to their vast sucess and age, they have become one of the most powerful bands in history, however that authentic street vibe which they rolled out in those clubs in Los Angeles has completely vanished.

Jeff the chef
A bunch of millionaires raging against capitalism and the governments who give them the freedom to express their view. Its a sham. They're just a pop group people. Calm down.

Chris
Hypocrites - signed to Sony, happy to take great walloping fees for their performances and not letting the great unwashed masses access their music via a public service broadcaster (the BBC). Fugazi they are not. Hyped up pseudo revolutionaries they are.

Anon
Did they play Born Of A Broken Man??? I'm seeing them at leeds next week. I love every single song but i would love to hear Morrello hit that break down live...awsome.

AdrainEDH
They have allowed broadcasts in the past. Reading 2000 was broadcast and so was woodstock 99. They have refused in the past also but its ever since Fox completly manipulated their message last year that they don't allow it at all anymore.

Mark McAwesomepuss
without a doubt the greatest live performance i have ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

Andrew
well fortunately iv been lucky enough to escape all the controversy of the non-playings of Green Day and RATM at TITP over the last few years, coz i saw them both there! and strangely enough they were the two bands that iv ever seen at TITP.right, 2 points for this fiasco.1. although im equally as annoyed as most folk here that ratm have denied us all footage of what was an AMAAAAAZING set, its worked. folk are bringing up the topic of what they are fighting against in the first place, and if any tv station showed footage of this set then no-one would be talking about the points they are trying to get across, everyone would just be going "WOW, HOW AMAZING WAS THAT?!?!"2. i cant remember my second point :(but anyway yes, ratm kinda rocked the whole weekend. i mean i worship biffy clyro and thought they played amazing, but rage just made them look like amateurs compared!wish i was going to leeds :(

Tom
Bit annoyed about not getting to see them on tv...... before I see them a Leeds Fest that is! I've been waiting 9 years for this!!!

Figophile
I thought that no gig could ever top muse at wembley...but rage at TITP blew it out of the water..! AMAZING!!!!

David
If you wanted to see them then you should have gone. I am a student and spent more money going to see them at T than i do on food in 2 months.

Fiona
I was looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about as my kids scraped and saved to go see them at T. I was a bit disappointed about the broadcast ban they impossed on themselves for fear of misrepresentation which I find a little hypocrytical seeing as how their music and message to the world is based on their interpretation of political issues. I'm not saying I disagree with their message infact I embrace it, but it is nothing new. There have always been bands like Rage and the message is always the same. You just pray that the message will be heard.

louise
come on guys. i was gutted that they were not on telly. a lot of friends and family were complaining about the program in general. love the rage

Mike
RATM were awesome live! Best show i saw all weekend.i cant beleive i was one of the lucky ones who got to see them, i have been a rage fan for a very long time and jumped at the chance of gettin to see them, i paid a lot of money for the t in the park ticket and travelled a long way to get to balado, BUT because i done that i got to see them and enjoy the show!a lot of bands are refusin permission to be filmed these days, (which is up to the band and not us) AND if you are a REAL fan you should and could have found some way of going !!i pulled a sickie from my work, paid way over the odds for a ticket, spent most of my years savings gettin there and camping!and because of this i got to see them...so if your a true fan of RATM then you know what to do for reading festival ! GO !!!!!!

Mch
"Greg"You clearly dont have a clue what you're talking about, A)Not everyone is able to get a ticket! it isnt as easy as "get one next time" there might not be a next time, have you any idea how many people go to T? Also you got ALL the songs wrong! first off, Freedom and Killing in the name of where encore! and he said his bit during wake up! You obviously didnt deserve to see them if you dont even know the track names! i say you should have given you ticket to Greg!!!

Sam
argh why is everyone so scared to get clearence to film them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they better video leeds so i can relive it again and again and again and again...........

Tom
RATM Are past tense who are only interested in making money now and don't care about fans. I don't beleive the BBC are to blame and think they did a good job broadcasting the festival with a good website showing the acts. If the BBC HAD permission they would have shown and simply edited the political comments. I hope the organisers decline acts that refuse television coverage in the future. It's not like they weren't paid to appear after all. Rage sold out the fans. Won't buy cd's or dvd's. Rage suck Rage suck

terry c
been to the last 13 ts in a row best one yet simply cause of the rage.they totally blew me i was in the pit and im still trying to come to terms with what I witnessed.hopefully wont be the last i see them and shame they didnt show any footage but i dont blame the band. also lovEd wake up when everyone sat down . AMAZING

zdlr
Rage were awesome.Dont worry about not seeing them im sure there will be a DVD out soon of the comeback tour

Raymo
Best band of the weekend!!! No matter what i watched after RATM just didn't compare.Thats the wildest pit I've ever been in. Would be nice to see the broadcast but hey can't have everything. The Prodigy weren't even as good as Rage

ljb2c
agree with tom but music world wont let that happenloved the set RATMsee you at the next festljx

matt
hopefully bbc can get teh coverage of rage for reading !!

Pistolpete
I couldn't make T in the park this year due to other commitments. i also know of quite a few others who couldn't make it for one reason or another.I think that Rage were wrong not to let their set to be broadcast. I have been a fan since I was in high school and would have loved to have seen their set from TITP. However now because some stupid American Tv station decided to mis-quote Zac de la rocha Rage wont allow British fans who weren't at the venue to see their performance. I think that is a poor effort from Rage punishing us for something someone else has done and also Rage are supposed to be a band who do it fot the fans and fight for just causes. Surely the fight wouyld be aided by broadcasting to an audience of millions in the uk rather than the thousands who were there who were'nt even into them anyway and only know of Rage because of Guitar Hero 3.

Dave
Damn shame RATM wont get broadcasted, for RATM reasons or BBC shaking in their boots on what may happen if they do air it. Even just 1 song would do but no. Its gutting to us Rage fans who didn't have the money at the time to travel up to Scotland to see them or to buy Reading/Leeds tickets which sold out waay to quick for any chance. Thanks alot BBC!

Big Al
I've always liked these guys but never expected them to be THIS good live. Probably the best thing I have ever seen at T! Truly amazing. Sorry folks for being selfish but I don't care if BBC are allowed to show them or not. These guys blew everybody who was there away!!!

Dover8
All you miserable bugs should be grateful there was coverage of the event at all. It's a festival, buy a ticket if you want to see it! Rage were infact the only good part of Saturday, and got all political during the set, so probbly didn't want to get in trouble when that was put on the telly. From what they said the BBC would have probably got into trouble too. But there were really good, especially the way they finished.

LyNnY
a once in a lifetime set...rage alone were worth the price of the ticket!! if they dont want to be broadcast, thats up to them, doesnt stop me being a fan in the slightest. if you really want to see them, make the effort!!!

courtney
yeah so they asked not to be put on..oh well that sucks i wanted to see it:( but it was the best gig of my life!love them!

Steve
It's funny how the country that created rock music with great bands such as Deep Purple and Iron Maiden to name but a few have turned their back on the genre.

King of the Pit!!!
I was there...in the lion's mouth...at the front of the mosh pit!! Carnage, sheer Carnage!!! :0)Just wish i could see some footage, as i missed loads just trying to stay alive. Awsome!!!!

Ron
Sorry I did not make it to T in the park this year and again as I have never heard of this band. I may have liked it if I saw a clip so I am afraid you are still unknown to me and sure others will agree a big mistake on the part of the management.

stevie bhoy
one of the best bands there is and ever will be, can't blame them for not allowing there gig broadcasted after what they were saying about there own government sure they don't want to end up in guantanamo bay

stevie bhoy
one of the best bands there is and ever will be, can't blame them for not allowing there gig broadcasted after what they were saying about there own government sure they don't want to end up in guantanamo bay

Alan
I thought Rage were about spreading their word to all, and not exclusively to those in a fortunate financial position to do so?

Chris Miles
Well worth waiting a decade to see..... Wish I remembered it now :D

carolrtw
The BBC can't show RATM coz they don't have permission. It's got nothing to do with censorship. I think everyone's forgotten that they also never showed the Green Day set from 2005 for the same reason. At the end of the day the BBC can only show what the bands will let them show. They are so much better live anyway. And saying that they will only show "boring" indie bands - I really don't think the Prodigy fall into that category and they were amazing!

Binsy
Best act of the weekend and deffo one of my favourite gigs ever, I love RATM! There are half decent phone vids on youtube tho if you missed them.

Grant
Gutted they arent going to be shown as the performance was a riot from start to finish! Hand down the best performance I have ever seen at TITP

camel Toe in the Park
Greatest live experience of my life! Left me speechless and begging for more! Once in a lifetime studio perfect audio excellence!

Andrew McG
HAHAHA. whats the big deal? if u like rage then you go and see them live instead of complaining about alienating their fans by not showing them on tv. idiots!! best band of the day by a mile!!!!!

Bill Oddie
What was the setlist?

Al
Try again..lets all calm down..anybody got Zachs speech put it on u tube!! Regardless of your views, etc..and what u beleive in, slagging them off, RATM has stood and protested more than all you lot put together Crying on here will ever do, they Fing rocked..those who were THERE cant argue with that, BEST BAND OF THE WEEKEND, Thanks!!

Greg
In response to a certain comment regarding RATM being overhyped and quote 'boring'...where were you mate!? Were you trying to fight your way out of a bin bag or something!? Saturday was undoubtedly historical and totally unforgettab;e and as for kaiser chiefs taking time out too collectively boo at us only when you ever write a decent song with at least half the lyrical power of any of RATM's then maybe just maybe you can be taken seriously the word average springs to mind.

murray
the same happened with green day a few years ago because they were apparently going to use te footage on a dvd. no dvd has been released with that footage. both bands have let me down as i was eager to see both of their sets and neither have been shown.

midnightrambler
Rage didn't want t.v. coverage due to the Fox network....at T in the Park Zach mentioned about his thoughts that Bush should be asasinated....I was at T. and thought the place was gonna explode !...the media always twist everything...if you want to see the gig, go to Youtube...it's all there.

daz
rage know very well that if the bbc were to broadcast, then it will be decided by some idiot in a suit who hasnt a clue who they are or what they are about decide what gets shown. you people that are moaning, next time, get a ticket like everyone else did and go see them yourself.and there WONT be a dvd!!!

Colin
Saturday's performance was off the chart. The lack of footage just makes it more special for those of us that had the privelage of being there. Next stop, READING........

callum:]
They stood up on stage and presented the fact that Fox had given them a poor reputation from what they said and of course didn't want it happening again, thus must of denied the BBC to show footage. They did give a political speech (de la Rocha is quite the spokesman, must say, he got everyone at the front sitting / kneeling) which probably wouldn't of been the best thing to broadcast. In all honesty, they were the act of the show and I'm glad that we who saw them were the privileged few. I was never really a Rage fan, mainly due to my age, but I was moved.

John
i agree. first, the bbc would probably recieve countless complaints because of their performance. and 2nd, they have been misrepresented in the past, eg been branded terrorists etc.

Graham
Why would rage want to allow the BBC to show their footage. The BBC are accomplices to a war crimes. The BBC have done little to nothing to challenge the new labour government statements in its build up to the Iraq war, occupation and wider " war on terror.

Crispin
I saw them on at the T in 1994 and again on saturday night, they really are the best live band in the world.

Emmamama
To all those complaining about no footage being shown - tough!! It's your own faults for not getting a ticket! hahaaa! I was there and it was AMAZING!!

keith
amazing but should off headlined sunday that would have been the best ending t in park yet brill

Billy
Total joke, what a disgrace RATM albums are going on ebay starting at £0.01....and BBC well i didn't expect anything different fae you guys...You all a joke.

jamie :)
raqe were by far the best act reguardless of them not being shown on tv :) i really enjoyed tom morrilo :O:O he is awesome on the guitar :) was also the best atmosphere i think that is why many traveled to titp this year :) amazing (L)

Michael:)
rage where awesomeshame u cnt get any videos:( thy were outstamndincrowd went mental:) no wonder `1 of the bst perfromances thr

louis
lets see if they broadcast their reading / leeds setnot that it matters to ME cos im actually going to see them!

RickyD
I'm gonna see them at reading fest so im not bothered

Marc
I was there.Best night of my life.Zack is like a political preacher. There was a mass sit down in the middle of the set, and the encore was just incredible.perfect

Anna...
what a shame... i was there :)

Simon
Damm shame. I really hope RATM change their minds.I don't blame the BBC at all, if RATM really have refused to allowed broadcast.

Sean
Rage were quite simply epic, and it is a shame that they woodn't let it be filmed bcos id love to see it was like from a distance bcos down the front was carnage, they cost me a phone! so worth it. Mind u they made some fairly controversial comments so that mite have something to do with it

robert
I was really sick the last few weeks and was so looking forward to seeing Rage on the TV while my mates were at T in the park. I weas gutted when I found out they were not showing it. I sat through a load of averge bands on saturday waiting for the good stuff and it never came!

mike
what do you think that this is going to acheve?BROADCAST RAGEThey better be broadcast at reading

Minty McGowan
RATM were the best band I have ever watched live.I feel a sorry for the people who wanted to watch on TV.They missed the best T in the Park performance that has ever happened.Every other band seemed almost amateur in comparison. The ground was shaking!

Scott
AHHHH YOU SUCK!

Baz
I can't beleive the BBC didn't let anyone know so fans would have to watch the whole show to find out. SCUM.

BenG
This is a load of rubbish. I can't believe they won't show the footage from T. RATM should serious think about how they want to be seen by their fans because this sort of stuff drives them off!

Euan
The BBC should remove all content about RATM from the website.

Shaunathan
Hahahahahaha, Rage were amazing. Good on them for not showing themselves on the BBC - they've not shown themselves since reforming, so why change? Y'all should have been in the pit

Euan
No bands in the future should be allowed to perform at T in the Park if they do not let footage be broadcast on TV.

creepingjesus
I wondered why REM got so much airtime... Shame on you Rage, a proper explanation would be nice! Prodigy were good tho.

jjj
Rage probably wanted to be broadcast uncensored which I doubt the BBC would be allowing, government station and all. Or Rage were against the corporate sponsors of the event. Still pissed off about it, surely the BBC could have done more to broadcast it.

Andrew
Shame Shame Shame ... how short sighted can they be, maybe if they did some SHOWS instead of the odd festival then we wouldnt mind so much

Bert
I wonder if they have filmed it but just didnt broadcast.....please someone at the bbc post it somewhere we can download!!!!

adam Wilson
who is the bad guy here? rage, or bbc?i can't believe for a second rage would deny their fans of anything. but i do believe the bcc just wouldn't show their act as its not radio friendly pop. if there any point, i say ANY POINT in having them as festival headliners if its to scary to broadcast?lets hope OXEGEN do a better job

Rab
I was there and it was AWESOME!A broadcast would have been amazing, youtube will have to do

Graeme
I was there, wasn't a fan before I went and still not one now. BORING!!!!Over hyped, rubbish and apparentlly to big for there boots.Come back when your a proper big band like REM!!!!!

andy h
you could of told us at the start of the programme, i could of turned off instead of watching the kaiser chiefs ne ne ne ne neing again

Dale
Just got back from T, totally gutted I cant see this, just like I couldn't see greenday and the footage never appeared in thewir DVD. and yes, they have allowed footage, Coachella 2007.

Long time rage fan
Even if RATM agreed to use the footage the BBC wouldnt play it any anyway! Maybe the web page would show a few clips for the fans but the coverage on TV with the radio one presenters wouldnt. No room for politically driven metal when you have Kate Nash and the scientists to play accoustic in the studio. I would love to see Edith Bowman interviewing Zac De la Roche. Long live metal!! Bren

Bob
this has nothing to do with rages management because they have no right to deny broadcasting of one of their bands.I also think that it wasnt down to the band either because if they are wanting freedom to the world and complete democracy then they would want to be broadcasted!!!

MattyB
I'd trust RATM's integrity far more than I would the BBC / the powers that be.

Mat
Gutted they weren't on and it's pure speculation as to the real reason why. would RATM really be that hypocritical??? not sure. what chance the BBC people can use some of these posts to show RATM how dissapointed their fans are, if it is not really their fault. surely they can't then stop Reading/Leeds highlights.

Ringo
awwww man...i was at T in the park watching RATM...oh my god.....best live band iv incounterd !!!talk about bouncing...top notch ill be buying the albums defo !!!Ringo - Capstin Pole

jack
surly you filmed it, just didnt broadcast it right....well....stick it all on youtube for us xd PLEASE! :D still yeah pissed off at RATM come on guys let em broadcast, i cant afford T tickets so ill never get to see yas! :(

Adam
Well what can I say, i've waited since leeds festival back in 2000 to get the chance to see them again, only to find that they haven't allowed the bbc to film it. Only the fact that their now back together makes up for this. Outraged!

Bruce
RATM are back so do not complain, all we need to pray for now is that they go on tour and go all over the uk so we can attend every one of them.

Rob
I just hope they let the BBC broadcast them at reading later in the summer.

banjoebeehive
its not the bbc's fault. do you really think they wouldnt want to show a headline band, sounds like rat m cashing in on a comeback dvd release to me

kieran
i read on a blog that some footage at rage was wiped as cameras caught a man getting stabbed at t in the park?

Evan
This is pathetic. Are RATM really a socialist band or money grabbers like all the rest ? I've long had my suspicions - now confirmed.

Scott McKenna
I mean I'll be going Reading so it's not all doom and gloom for me, but a lot of people have reasons why they can't get to festivals, so to not show their show broadcasted is a poor show! (see what i did there)It's probably more likely to be some crazy political grudge that Rage hold with TV companies from the 90s, but surely they overlooked the fact that fans watch the footage?

Tom
They dont alow any of there footage to be used for commercial yet they would help sell out a festival which is massivly commercial!!!!! i am a huge fan and cannot wait to see them at leeds but they need to sort out there logic and what they stand for

WaxOnWaxOff
I guess its just proof that they got back together to play a few gigs this year purely to cash in and keep footage for a DVD release. I would encourage people to let them know how they feel by writing, emailing just as they do post rants!!!

Jules
They were awesome =) what do you mean you all missed out on a once in a lifetime chance

Deeko
Why can't we hear RATM's reason for not allowing their set to be viewed? I wonder if it's money, politics or ego?

Lee
Gutted!

Ed
Shame

Saul
I would think that the bbc wouldnt allow rage to say things about bush as it would be 'Damaging' to "our realationship" with the usa. The management probably said if rage couldnt be rage then the wouldnt televise this. Doesnt that sound more plausable than rage selling out???

JAMES PEDDIE
i was at t in the park and seen rage...they were AWESOME ! but im gutted that the videos havnt been put up on the site, Amy Winehouse has a video and RAGE dont ?? hmmm...

CW
Show the Kaisers again! They were even better the tenth time!! Whoevers fault this is it still doesn't excuse having to sit through three hours of shoddy presenting and repeats only NOT to get told that RATM wouldn't be shown. Maybe they could show the Kaisers again. I don't think anyone saw them!!

Stuart
Hippocrites

bob
rage socialist fakers, plastic lyrics, no respect for rage

John
They were awesome live. :-D

TheWilbz
Well, this sucks

Martin
Can you post the set list that they played at least please??

scott
Why did the BBC not say sooner that RATM would not let them film them? I would not have got my hopes up so much.

Ally
What a bunch of hypocritical ..yeah.Awesome band but screw them.

steve
Watch all last night for the highlights why not state no RATM at the start of the evening then I could have changed channel

Connon
Mega gutted they really were the only good band playing and thier set is not being shown but they show crap like Kate Nash. Sucks

Becca
Well I'm glad its not the BBC's doing but they could have told us on the highlights show... But Im so disappointed. Does this mean they aren't going to be allowed to show footage from Reading and Leeds either? I don't see how a few live songs will do any damage. Its better having some professional footage than the inevitable rubbish camera phone videos which are going to be all over you tube in a couple of days.

jello
don't see what all the fuss is about, they've never been the same since that collaboration with jay zed on the collision course album, that was amazing

Lord_faulteroy
It was heartbreaking to stay up until the late show on bbc 1, then at the very end have Galloway say they weren't allowed to play it. :|

C'Mon The Hoops
OHHHH!!!! WHERE IS RAGE!? C'MON MAN! I STAYED UP WELL LATE LAST NIGHT TO SEE IF THEY WERE GONNA BE ON.WAY PAST MY BEDTIME DUDES!RAGE ROCKDIDDLYOCK!

Grantos
Dudes!!! Where is RAGE!

Kalvin
It was quite stupid of Rage's band management to not allow to broadcast them. maybe they're only wanting people that payed to see them can actually see them live... but what about us people who can't afford to go to T in the Park? Did they not think about us???The best band at T in the Park... And we can't even watch them play :(

James Bruce Hunter
what a bunch of Phoneys RATM are

JohnC
Best live act by far everif you missed it you missed out!

Tim
I think you should all just stop complaining. Your chance to see them was live at the gig last night...where i was. Your never going to get the same reaction watching the highlights anyway, inconsequencial.

Cowboy
lol goddam hippies

Martin
Thats it, I watch bugger all on TV yet pay £11 per month. I'm gonna ditch my TV and buy a big ass monitor or remove the tuner from my TV. You aint getting another penny from me!

Matt
What a great gig, shame it can't be broadcast...something stinks there...

Rockgeek
Ha - BBC got told and had to show awful NME-esque acts that were pretty darn boring!

Mark
I am disappointed like many who weren't able to buy tickets in the 20 minutes they were available on the T in the Park site or were willing to pay 3 times the cost off of ebay three seconds later. That said saw them when they released their first album and doubt they will ever be that good again.

danny
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOthats all

James
RATM need to justify themselves over this, are they fakers? Frusciante called Morello a business man for pushing him out of the way for a photo opp, is this another business move? If it is then it's their right but don't try and con everyone with your socialist lyrics.

graeme Martin
can i just say i was their at the front row and uz missed the best show ever they are my fave band and yes they talked about bush being assassinated and burning down the embassy so im guessin they wanted to keep it for just the crowd!!!!

Brock
I love RATM but I'm very disappointed in them now!!!If they don't want to be filmed at a festival known to be broadcast by one of the biggest TV broadcasters in the world, (the BBC), then just don't show up!I'm sure the people that got to go their enjoyed their set but what about their fans around the world that couldn't make it to Scotland?VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Scaz
Although i am not a fan of Rage myself, my boyfriend is a huge fan and the only reason he would let me watch the highlights is because Rage were playing. I was at the T in the Park when Greenday played and refused to let their set be shown on tv. I then waited till Bullet in the Bible dvd came out and guess what? No T in the park performance! I wrote a letter to the BBC and had a letter back that did not answer me questions, so i sent 4 back asking for more information about why we couldnt see it. That was 3 years ago, and i am still waiting for a reply. All this tells me is that the BBC will never give the real answers to anything as they dont count these festivals as important viewing programes. If what the Beeb is saying is true, well Rage should not have agreed to do this show, as you cant tell me that they dont know how huge this is in Scotland and in the UK. They have lost respect of a very long term fan and i now have a sulking boyfriend to deal with!

Alex
This is completely stupid, whats the point of having rage on the bill if nobodys allowed to see it? Rage on tv!

Charlotte
I am absolutely disgraced Rage wasn't broadcast last night... What's the deal? Someone GIVE US THE TRUTH! Can't believe the official story.

Andy Barnes
Whoever's decision this is, whether it be their management or the BBC, someone should be ashamed. RATM are the only reformed band I've looked forward to seeing and the footage can't be broadcast. I really hope this isn't a decision made by anyone around the band or this is the biggest musical corporate rubbish ever and the whole Rage message has been lost.

Col
Im raging against rage against the machine. If they have a dvd coming out like greenday a few years back or some crap then they are a bunch of SELLOUTS and HYPOCRITES.

Alex Fraser
This stinks stinks stinks....I thought we lived in a democracy....yet another example of a police state!WHY wouldn't RATM managment give permission?Thats absolute bull, they want as many people to hear what they have to say as possible.Pay a licence fee to be controlled and policed by the Bloated Broadcasting corporation..Instead listen to the most overrated band in history The Kaiser Chiefs play the same set they have played for last 5 years..DISGRACE, THIS IS NOT OVER!!!!

JimCat
ah i understand their thinkin. still gutted its not shown on tele :(

Scott
RATM = CapitalistsSOLD OUT££££££££££££££££££Its not the BBC's fault you idiots!

mdallas
rage were awesome cant belive there are not showing any footage it was the best mosh ever bbc should grow some balls and get it on

Jonnyraptor
Did any of you guys see when the bbc interviewed the kaiser chiefs? The drummer Asked if the bbc were gonna show Rage...and the presenter got a really idiotic look on his face and just changed the question!!! come on...even 'the nations favourite band':S.....wanted to see RATM

Joe
This makes me sad as I sit here on my iPod touch with guerilla radio playing as I type this, but maybe there was a reason for this, maybe we'll get a statement from Rage or their management giving us a more specific reason.Maybe they hAd something to say about our political state, and the mangement wanted to avoid troubleor its all tripe and its the BBC covering their own assessuppose youtube shakycam footage will have to suffice

paul
NOT HAPPY!Who decides this? are they mad? BEST BAND AT T IN THE PARK BY A COUNTRY MILE!

Jack
WE WANT RAGE, WE WANT RAGE, We WANT RAGE

Iain
I tuned in specifically for Rage, but I wasn't too surprised. I'm guessing they have a DVD out soon or something but it wouldn't surprise me if Zach just didn't want it shown for personal reasons... I think this is part of their appeal for me.

analogue
Not the bbcs fault.pinkpop/rockamring and every other festival they have done since reforming they have refused to allow broadcasting of the performances. tonight is no different, although it is a bit of a mistake for them in my opinion when its a public service broadcaster rather than an mtv type station.lets just hope the reasoning behind it is valid and considered and not just a way of getting cheap footage for a dvd by using the festival screen feeds around europe

prodigylove
rage have got too big for there boots its obvs that they dont want there performace on the highlights so they can bring out a dvd of the live performace from the other festivals and make more money. just thinking out the money started of a political band now just cause they reform they are now no diffrent from the spice girls reform n take that tut! tut! tut!

Ally
If it was the BBC that put a stop to the broadcast then shame on you. Just another faceless corporation that's afraid to air RATM's political views. If on the other hand it was the management of RATM that prevented the broadcast then well done on alienating a large section of the people that really matter - the fans. Total Sellouts.

Matt
Jim Banks..........warm milk??? the only reason I pay my license fee is for events like this!!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon the Beeb. Kaisers suck the big one. Tom Morello & ZDLR........ pure genuis.F**k you I won't do what you tell me!!!!!!!!!

Beansie
Nothing on their site about not getting broadcast...First two albums amazing, gutted.

Dave
I think this is disgraceful and very unprofessional of the BBC to announce this at a late stage. I'm not a massive fan of RATM but I know alot of people who are. Not everyone was fortunate enough to get a ticket for TITP and this was the only way they had of seeing the band through television highlights. Probably the only band I would consider as A ROCK band appearing at the festival and there is no footage, pathetic! As usual the comments left on here will be overlooked. The BBC can stuff their footage of the festival.

bob
BBC is robing us all, they dont show RATM because they may make a political speach when u have shown worst speaches on your channels from those who hate our own country and culture, and u have them living in our own land and most of them for "free",(on our taxes)

Ross S
the bbc are right wing and rage are socialist left wing. they will probably do a speech about thatcher so bbc will not show it. the bbc scumbags.

Jim P
Some of the posts on here are hilarious. You people have no idea of how much management bollocks like this goes on in the music industry - it would be fitting if the reason for not showing Rage was political, however, it won't be.Admittedly, it is a shame we can't see Rage perform on the BBC coverage - however, it does not seem fair to blame the BBC for the situation. Seriously though - We are Scientists presenting, and Pimp My Tent - I would like to know who I can contact to get that part of my life back...

Jenny
can't believe this, could've given us some notice...even a couple of hours - been looking forward to this all week. so disappointed.

ERNIEK
WHY DID YOU NOT TELLUS SOONER ..BAD NEWS .......BBC....... UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!

dan
I was disappointed there was no rage, but it sounds like its the bands problem not the bbc.

Louise
bands that refuse to be seen on the highlight show shouldnt be allowed to perform. surely one song wouldnt kill them. surely if there is a dvd coming out soon this is free publicity in stead they have annoyed fans.

jem
Just wasted a whole evening watching second rate bands and third rate presentation waiting for Rage to NOT be broadcast. TOTALLY unimpressed with the band for not allowing fans who couldn't get to the festival some access to their performance and with the BBC for not announcing earlier that they weren't going to show it , which makes them complicit. I won't watch tomorrow and won't be buying the bands live DVD. But may play 'Killing in the name of' for breakfast. Grumping off to bed now !!!!!!!

Neil
Even if it's the RATM management what is the excuse for making me sit through hours of the show without mentioning anyhting - like we wouldn't notice or something.

Bryan
Do you really think RATM would give a shit if your disapointed?..its RATMthey can do what they like.

Lucas
Please make sure rage is on come august for the reading/leeds weekend. We deserve real music.

Graeme
So bored already of the constant Ian Brown/Fratellis/Kaiser Bores raparound - get RATM ON NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt
No rage TV...................................?

phat si
well well well. now there's a surprise. the supposed bastion of unbiased objective reporting that is the bbc has chosen not to show RATM. guess they are just too afraid zack and the guys might portray too truthful an image of the consistently shamefull acts of our own and other country's governments and corporations. well done auntie beeb, you've bowed down to your true masters and contradicted yourself yet again.

matty
why didnt u broadcast rage im very disapionted in the bbc

Gavin
Typical bbc. How many times would a headline band not get any coverage? Total censorship!!

Matthew
What the Hell! I have been waiting for Rage to come on TV. You guys put every other band on TV except Rage! What happened? They vanish?

jak
well what is the name of the company???????

RealityCheck
Errrrm, not the Beeb's choice not to show Rage ?? Get a grip - they'd show it at the drop of a hat !!!

Ray Watt
Another piece of censorship from the BBC. Messages from a group which the BBC would rather not show. The hypocracy from our democracy. Please RATM make a comment on this disgraceful act of political and cultural censorship!

Angry RATM Fan
What? You must be joking. BBc- the most prestigious broadcasting station who has brodcasted nearly ever performence from T but wont let us unfortunate enough not to go to T to be blocked from seeing a reunion of a great band. The millions watching their TVS tonight are not wanting to watch repeats.... but see the real thing!!! Get the on the telly!!!!!

Sul
No Rage but endless Kaiser Chef repeats? Thanks. Next time, don't bother.

Dan
This is disgusting if your not showing it on TV why isnt just on the website?!!

nellly
shamefull for the band....i thought they were in favour of freedom....$mell the money of DVD sales RATM....a big fan loosing hope!

Spunkmarrow
what's the real reason BBC?

Ash
"Looking forward to Rage Against The Machine at this year's T? Post your comments here."I am as it goes. too bad you wont be broadcasting it for the rest of us to see though! why ask such a rediculous question?

Sim
rage, Rage, RAGE!SHOW THEM!!!

Rich
DISGRACE

beard1973
That SUCKS!!! No Rage = NO IDEA!!!

Dave
I saw Rage at Coachella last year...best act ive ever seen live! It's a disgrace the BBC won't broadcast any of the set. Still at least I have a Reading ticket...I wonder if the BBC will broadcast anything from Reading?

Graham
So I've sat through 4 and a half hours of dross for nothing then. Public broadcasting company who don't publicly broadcast they won't be showing the headliners, leaving it instead to a feeble web apology. Not good enough

EATN
1 song would do

Kasch Wilder
censorship!! THE BBC KNOWS THE ZACH IS GONA MAKE A POLITICAL SPEECH SO THEY MADE UP THIS RUBBISH TO GET THEM OFF AIR!! lots of love xx

tone
absolutly gutted, been looking forward to seeing them all day, more information on the reasons why they were not shown please bbc ??

Johnathan
Gutted. Totally soured my impression of RATM.

gav
a complete disgrace that the bbc money robbing gypsys won`t show rage

Amanda
T in the park should put a ban on any bands that want to restrict or completely deny the footage being shown on the highlights. It's out of order!!! This happened with Green Day as well, it's 're just no right!!!! THEY'RE PART OF T IN THE PARK THEY SHOULD BE PART OF THE SHOWS ON TV. THERE'S ALOT OF PEOPLE SITTING AT HOME WELL MIFFED ABOUT THIS, C'MON BBC GET THE FINGER OOT!!!!

c
boo! to no rage, the bbc should try everything they can to get rage live from reading & leeds. please we dont need to see ANOTHER set from the kaiser cheifs and fratellis, plus the verve twice in 2 weeks!?! no matter if you think theyre cack or they rock. whatever happened to the BEEB's so called commitment to diversity? This reminds of "live earth" where the BBC cut metallica (who i dont particular like) and the beastie boys (who i do)after like one song. C'mon bbc gets some balls and let the fans get a listen to 'em at reading & leeds 2008! pleeease!

Jack
BBC do not have permission to show Rage apparently...can't beleive that really

eddie mcpot
ive got massive respect fot rage not allowing themselves to be filmed by the bbc.....TAKE THE POWER BACK!!!!!!!!

Aj
That is the biggest load of crap, the bbc are just making up excuses to prevent rage showing em up doing anyfing anti political etc, rage 4 life!

BFR
Typical BBC. Fork out a shedload of license fee on getting cverage of this festival and then not showing any of the headliner, because they aren't a BBC safe MOR band. What a sham

Will
No rage, 3 idiot presenters, worst festival show ever

Sarah
B******s! Feeble excuse! Rage blackout by media bosses is a more likely reason. The truthful messages in RATM lyrics & performances make politicians & fatcats of the world squirm!

Ginger
Typical BBC!

Gary
The BBC are scared of Rages political messages, blatantly

Alan
I do not understand why the management would not allow footage of the band to be shown. This does not make sense, and contradicts what the band stands for surely?

David
How bad is the BBC coverage of T in the Park??? Who wants to see any of the THE Bands - WHY NO RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE???? a real shame

Craig
Please broadcast RATM! Im sick of hearing the fratelis

raging
so the BBC want to show RATM but RATM won't let them as they don;t want thir act to be seen for free on TV as they want to charge us money to see them.a money grabbing band just like the rest of them.

starr
new world order bbc bs

Gomer
Outrageous - let's have more clone bands. C'mon Beeb, do what you do best and show the best, alternative live music......Kaiser Chiefs et al have all been seen on these shores many, many times......give us some RATM

thekillerking
bbc what a load of rubbish....just ignore ratm the best act on the bill....i will personally though my tv out the window in protest

Steve
Seriously this is stupid, rage are the best band on over the whole weekend, glad im seeing them at leeds fest

jason
what a kop out,r there management a bunch of idiots,RAGE LIVE PLEASE

Steven A
Should be part of their contract to allow them to be filmed..totally disgusted in RATM

dave
I cannot believe they are showing us bland mainstream pop in the shape of the Kaiser Chiefs instead of worldwide supergroup and HEADLINE ACT ratm who have millions more fans and have sold millions more albums - typical idiotic BBC!!

jason R
this is bullsh*t..how come rage aint on?? we've sat thru a whole lotta crap on the glasto coverage with a pile of nerdy bands all beginning with 'the'...you know who you are..and we're denied the only decent act at the festival. and no explanation either.....booooooooooooooooooooo

tricko
rage were cool back in the day. Just a bunch of sell outs today...yawn!

James
i would guess that rage have a problem with bbc censoring them?i cant see prime time beeb allowing Zac to say some of the stuff he does. also we all know the words to killing in the name dont we.

Rhys
Are you serious? Come on, That smells like rubbish. If they arent giving you permission pester them till they will!

PLANET EARTH!!!!
Pleeeeeeaaaase put them on, they're the best band playing!!!!!! Who wants to see crummy kaiser cheifs!? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!! :( :( :(

kingw
"IF IGNORANCE IS BLISS, BBC KNOCKED THE SMILE OFF MY FACE"

chris
You ruined my weekend. I have pizza, beer but no rage.Get your fingers out BBC.That's the last time i pay a license fee!

Andy
An absolute disgrace.Boycott the BBC, they are Illuminati controlled anyway.RESIST THE NEW WORLD ORDER

GJ
will there be any footage at all?!?!?!?!?

Barca
So much for their "power to the people" credentials - Won't even release their own footage to a public service broadcasters. Pathetic.

Gareth
See the msg above from the bbc website team, the rage mgt are refusing to broadcast any footage.

conna
why is a headlining band not being shown on tv?why is that we have to watch the same bands that were on at glastonburythe first time rage against the machine play in the uk for 8 yearsim guessing its going to be the same for reading and leeds? ignore the return of slipknot, rage and metallica 3 of the biggest rock bands everjust to keep everyone happy, play the real music please

Brad RATM
this is pathetic, if they do not show RATM then well.....what a waste, the bbc would get a hell of alot more viewing if they put the on, yeh lots of swearing but its on late, which kids will be up at 10! get them on! i cant wait until leeds festival! i wanna peek of what iv got to come!!!!

Aj
"We are truly sorry that we are unable to broadcast any footage at all of Rage Against The Machine. The band's management have not given us permission to do so. Most of the website team are actually fans of the band ourselves and would love to let you all see them! The best we can do is give you a photo gallery, which is coming soon....sorry again. " wtf are you kidding me bbc, are you joking us ? seriously ?!?! is this an excuse ?! what are you gonna do when reading and leeds comes on telly in august!!

ed woolford
no ratm? tis a shame. not like they got any new stuff to play though.

Andy
Rage are trying to express the importance of this exact thing. They have a message to tell the world... Don't silence the truth!

Luke
Get rage on who the hell wants to see anything else anyway

tom
just showing again that the beeb is controlled by the government

Darren
Why no Rage????????????????Come on BBC!!!!!!!

Andy K
Rage have a message the people need to hear... stop being jerks and broadcast it!!!!

James
At least tell us the reason why your not showing RATM, how can you not show one of the best bands to appear in any festival this season, it's a crime!

bob
where can i watch them?

Bevan
I wish you had put RATM on TV rather than the mediocrity striken Kaiser Chiefs and Fratellis. Either don't come close to Rage Against the Machine

Jen&John
so its alright to play size zero, drugged up Amy Winehouse but you can't play RATM????what's going on bbc?

AS
Totally gutted RATM wont allow their performance to be broadcast. While i respect their motives it is really a huge letdown to all their fans who want to see a live performance considering they have not played live in the UK in 8 years.

Kevin
Does anyone know the real reason why they won't broadcast them? Is this coming from RATM of BBC?

tommy H
BBC are shocking, the one band i want to see at T in the Park and they're not showing them. BBC's policies are absolutely shocking

ben
u better put this on telly or i'll rage!

CAT
WHY ARE YOU RATM NOT BEING SHOWN.????

Brew
Will Rage be on tele in any form then?

Tats 'DEDHED' Mcgee
RATM-my bro is driving them from T to Oxey and on,he reckons they cant refuse permission to be broadcast at a festival!I hope hes right!!Come on BBC this is worth liecence fee alone-play RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!

MaRTIN
Please!!!

Robert
PLEASE YOU NEED TO BROADCAST THIS I HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM LIVE BEFORE PUT IT ON INTERACTIVE.

Danny
Broadcast Rage Live. PLEASE!!!

Paul
Why no mention of RATM on any of the shows? if someones pulled the plug could the BBC get the nerve to tell us they wont be on and why instead of pretending they dont exist!

Stu
the only band i'd c at t in the park this yr! GET THEM ON THE SHOWS!!!!!!!!

Steve
yes this band has to be broadcast live, Bring on the Rage!!!

Tom
Please BBC put rage on tv whole set theyre amazing

Robin
So we won't be seeing any RATM footage? BOO x10^10!Even bigger Boo for maintaining a 'polite silence' on the issue. Be up-front about the reason they aren't being screened. Maybe they won't look so shiny when you tell everyone that a public-funded TV station can't broadcast their set because their moneybags record company are jealously hoarding all footage for a DVD release?Oh you rebels, you. Chiz.

Andrew
I'm prepared to sit through Ian Brown to see Rage live! Please show it live!!!

geoff
rage is da best

Rob
Can't wait to see them on TV tonight! Been waiting months for it! Rage are back! yeah!!

RAGE LOVER
PUT RAGE ON !

Matt
It would be a crime not to show any RATM footage. About as good as it gets!!!!

Aj
Please broadcase RATMs set BBC its important!

Red Star
Come on BBC don't deny Britain seeing this great band... let's enjoy them with the rest of Scotland!

scott
just had a look on the listings on the tv they wont be on BBC 2 now, or later and wont be on BBC3 now or later. whats the point in showing T in the park if your not going to show the Main headlining bands?

Euan
Please show RATM!

ali
do you really think the'll show this?i think not.they put an amazing band on the bill like Rage and the beeb would rather shoe the fratellis???????????remind me why we pay our tv licence?

phil
i haven't seen rage mentioned anywhere else on the site with the tv listings...but i can't wait until reading so i hope they're on tv tonight

Shelagh Akrivos
Please put them on TV - saw them on their last performance at Reading - great they have got back together ...

Matt
what time are rage playing, can you view it at all? online?

Aj
why cant bbc broadcast ratm on the telly ?

Jonny
Sort it out BBC, get Rage on the telly. best band on by far!!

Andrew
Please broadcast RATM!

Dai Jenks
What a crime if the beeb don't show coverage of RATM! I saw them play in Reading back in 98/99 and they're the best live act I've ever seen!

Micky
I hope the Beeb show the RATM performance on TV I'm sick of the landfill indie and mortgage rock bands on heavy rotation on BBC3

A
"they cant broadcast ratm, they wont give permission": The sad truth...

Matt
Pleeeeease broadcast this!!

rich
as per above please

Kieran
One of the best bands to come to T in the Park and the bbc wont show them :|

Luke
The BBC do not have the guts to broadcast RATM for the fear of them doing something controversial

Nick the Biz
They have to be on somewhere surely. This is a big deal

Joe
I will be sourly disappointed in the BBC if they don't broadcast this, or put it online.Hell, even interactive will do.

bev
u must show them on telly 2nite please...

Daw
Who the hell wants to see the Fratellis? Or Kaiser Chiefs?! Show us Rage!!

emjay
according to the sky tv guide, the BBC are showing the Fratellis instead of them, when they normally show headliners. Why? Rage will likely draw the biggest audience of the weekend. and there going to have the same probelm with there Reding coverage!

Jon
If you dont show us Rage it will be a disgrace!! By far the biggest act there this year

Oz
RATM are without doubt one of the greatest rock bands of all time, if you've ever had the pleasure of hearing their songs you'll know this to be true, if not then make sure you do not miss this band. BBC you have to broadcast this, i'm going to Reading to see them and I cant wait! Woo Hoo!

Matt
Anyone know if RATM will be on TV tonight ?

Alex
Would be criminal if Rage were not on either the radio or tv....and looking at the schedules for the TV they clearly seem to be overlooked... How can you not broadcast the headlining act on the main stage!!!

Ali
I cant see any mention of RATM on bbc tv coverage!! Why on earth would they not be covered when they are a headline band. crazy

WaxOnWaxOff
The bbc have aired the same bands for the last 3 festivals covered and im afraid even though RATM are one of the most groundbreaking, greatest live bands ever and this could be the time they play in scotland. Im sure the BBC will take preference ONCE AGAIN to dreary indie bands such as the wombats and kaiser cheifs

Renegade
YOU HAVE TO PUT THIS BAND ON TELLY!!

Sara
This is where the BBC could come into their own...quality coverage please of an act that is as popular as they come?!

ben
they cant broadcast ratm, they wont give permission

Steve-o
The best band on the bill at any festival this year!!I've never had the chance to see them live. Please, please BBC broadcast this

Matty
Definatly broadcast this!! One of the best acts this year!!

Nips
Clearly it would be a crime to not put out as much ratm coverage as you can. Tuning in/browsing for that above all else. Cheers.

ciaran
one of the few bands I've not seen and would really like to, lets hope the beeb puts their set on TV/online

Al
yes, please put lots or ratm live performances on tv- they aint the most mainstream but their the best act on show at T this year by far :D

Ross
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!

Alex
RAtM LIVE PLEASE!!!!

Ollie
Broadcast Rage live please!! Even if it's on interactive, i wanna see them!!
