As always Pudsey will be stepping out and supporting your events so tell us what you're up to. This year BBC Suffolk is getting its dancing shoes on, eating lovely puddings and singing its heart out all for Children in Need. Tell us what you'll be doing for Children in Need 2008 by completing the form at the bottom of this page. ![]() Foz practices at work with Kate Arkell Dancers in NeedOn Wednesday 12 November BBC Suffolk is staging its very own version of Strictly Come Dancing at the Spa Pavillion in Felixstowe. The event will see 12 contestants, including all the day-time radio presenters (minus a forced-to-retire James Hazell), competing to see who's the king and queen of the dancefloor. All the tickets for the event have now been sold but BBC Suffolk will be on hand to record lots of photographs of the chassés and sequins. Read all about the event by clicking on the link: ![]() Mark Murphy and Pudsey sample the cakes Charity Pudding Club EveningOn Thursday 13 November 2008 BBC Suffolk will be teaming up with the Hearing Care Centre to host a Charity Pudding Club Evening in aid of Children in Need. The event, which will be held at the Dining Room Restaurant in Ipswich, gives guests a delicious main course and then a huge selection of desserts. Tickets are £22 and are available from The Hearing Care Centre, 5 High Street, Ipswich - 01473 228 075. Children in Need Carol ConcertThe sixth annual Christmas Carol Concert in aid of Children in Need takes place at St Mary's Church, Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 6 December 2008. ![]() Pudsey conducts at the carol concert Tickets cost £10 for adults and £8 for people under the age of 16 and the unreserved tickets can be obtained from the Theatre Royal Box Office on 01284 769505. As usual the event will be recorded for a broadcast on Christmas Day. Find out more about the performers taking part by clicking on the link: It's over to youYou've sat in baths of baked beans, rattled buckets and worn your pyjamas to school to raise millions for BBC Children In Need. We'd like to hear from you about all the fun and exciting things you're doing to raise money this year. There are loads of fundraising activities happening all over the county. Lots of weird and wonderful ideas. Here are just some of them: Friday 14 November:-Staff and children at CLARE Community Primary School will all be going to school in their pyjamas. -There will be a sponsored fancy dress walk and party taking place in LOWESTOFT at the Hotel Victoria. The event will start at 8.30pm Tickets are £2.50, please contact Tim on 07825 392329 for more details. -Skipathon - at Millennium Martial Arts Centre, 151 St Helen's Street, IPSWICH , IP4 2LP starting at 6.30pm. Everyone welcome. 01473 217203 -The Natural Healing Centre in Woodbridge are holding the 4th annual treatment taster day in aid of BBC Children in Need. All treatments are £6, with all money going direct to the cause. There will also be a raffle, lucky dip and the chance to win a massage. Saturday 15 November:-Steve Finn will be taking to the stage at Scotts Gallery Cafe in Lowestoft, tickets cost £8 with 50% going to Children in Need, call 01502 576900 for more details.
