Children In NeedYou are in: Suffolk > Children In Need > Private Pudsey ![]() Pudsey shows off Private PudseyYou could never accuse Pudsey of not pulling his weight when it comes to raising money for Children in Need. But for the 2007 campaign he took things one step further by getting physical with the army!
Pudsey was welcomed to Holbrook Primary School by pupils testing new assault course equipment in their playing field. For a £2 donation to Children in Need, the youngsters were put through their paces by members of the army recruitment team from Colchester. Not wanting to miss out, Pudsey limbered up and accepted Sergeant Major Dave Goodman's invitation to "show the kids how it's done". So off he went - tiptoeing, balancing and crawling under each obstacle which was put before him. On completion, a chant of "Pudsey, Pudsey, Pudsey" rang out amongst the school children as the 6 foot bear danced a jig of celebration.
