Keith Middleton

Keith is BBC Radio Stoke's late-night presenter on weekends. With all his experience of broadcasting in the Midlands, how can you go wrong?

Keith presents the weekend Late Show on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC Radio Stoke.

Biography

Possibly the most famous name to emerge from Ellowes Hall Secondary School – what else is there to say about Keith Middleton?
Well, quite a lot actually – most of it to do with radio, because that's what he does best.

Like so many other broadcasters, he started in hospital radio – Stour Valley in Wordsley in the Black Country and then BHBN in Birmingham.

His experience in radio got even more exciting after that, with stints at Buzz FM, Beacon Radio, Radio Maldwyn, Sunshine 855, Marcher Gold, The Wolf, Signal Radio and Radio Luxembourg... (well, no, he didn't actually have a show on Luxembourg, but he had a very nice time when he visited!)

Keith was under the impression it was easier to get into Buckingham Palace than into the BBC, but apparently someone left the back door unlocked at BBC Midlands. He crept in and nobody had the heart to tell him he'd found his way into the broom cupboard (using a loo brush for a microphone and trying to play CDs on the floor polisher...!).

Late weekends

Now Keith has made the weekend Late Night Show his own. You can hear him every Saturday and Sunday night.

He's just as much at home talking to the stars as he is to the people who phone in for a chat and a discussion.
