However, working a late shift can lead to bad habits though - for example, the lure of daytime TV. Rob has to make a conscious effort to bypass the remote control when he finally wakes up, otherwise the day disappears.

When not working (not often), Rob spends as much time as he can with his wife Suzanne - which can prove difficult, as she often seems to be working when he's not.
He also loves the company of his daughters Laura and Emma, who are both keen dancers, with his son Liam coming up close behind as a budding footballer and cricketer.

He loves his music... anything really, from jazz funk to classical classics. And he is not ashamed to admit that his favourite song is by Genesis - Follow You Follow Me.

Starsign: Leo
Grew up in: Rural east Leicestershire, country boy!
First Job: Civil servant - did what I was told in between lots of tea breaks!
First Car: Austin A35. In an impulsive moment I painted a white stripe down each side and pretended I was the third member of Starsky and Hutch! I didn't see too many others like it.
1st ever record: "Ha Ha Said the Clown" by Manfred Mann. Cost 6/11d from Ainleys.

Favourites
Things: My digital radio, my PC, and football.
Food: Ice cream is favourite, closely followed by a traditional Sunday roast with home made Yorkshire pudding.
Item in Wardrobe: Was a comfy petrol green suit which suddenly disappeared one day when I was out and has since been spotted in a local charity shop!
