Reinstate our footpaths!!

By Hazel Nutt
I am standing at the top of the steps that lead down to the Asda retail park looking over the vale towards the Festival Park ... and it makes me realise how much green there is in the view.

Beside me is a huge mound of earth made by bulldozers as they develop Grange Lane for access to the A500 ...

As the development has progressed all the footpaths which pedestrians used have been obliterated. The Government is telling us to walk for the good of our health but all our pleasant by-ways are disappearing.

I feel really strongly about the green spaces here in the City ... listen to my ideas for keeping the green in Stoke-on-Trent!
