Not by school children, the school closed over 20 years ago, but by the Hanliensians, a community of old boys and girls, proud of their past… Is there a specific song that reminds you of your school days? It's funny how songs can trigger memories or emotions from the past. Well, during the second world war, two friends found each other through a very unique song. One of them was humming a tune whilst he fixed a tank and the other recognised it. The tune he was humming was the Hanley High School Song, and that song is still bringing people together today.
