Children In Need

Many of our listeners did the usual raffles and tombola's for this year's Children in Need Appeal and the money is still rolling in.

It just goes to show that you don't necessarily need to sit in a bath full of baked beans to raise money but whatever you do we love to take it off your hands and make sure children locally see the benefit.

BBC Radio Stoke's Tim Wedgwood received more than eleven hundred pounds from committee members at Pitshill Victory Working Mens Club. They raised the money with a week long raffle and bric-a-brac sale. Thanks ever so much for all your efforts and well done to they guys at Pitshill!
