| Saturday, 15 February, 2003, 14:07 GMT Newry earn Solitude point ![]() Robert Casey missed from the penalty spot for Newry Daily Mirror Irish Premiership In the only Daily Mirror Irish League game played on Saturday, Cliftonville and Newry drew 1-1 at Solitude. Anthony Crawford opens the scoring for Cliftonville in the 18th minute. Robert Casey should have equalised for Newry six minutes later but he failed to find the target from the penalty spot. However, Martin Reilly earned Newry a point by hitting a 73rd minute equaliser. Division One Bangor took all three points in the Irish League First Division clash at Clandeboye Road. Andy Morrow opened the scoring for Bangor in the 10th minute. Crawford McCrea equalised for Carrick in the 33rd minute. Kevin Bates scored Bangor's in the 71st minute. Morrow should have extended Bangor's lead in injury-time but he failed to hit the net from the penalty spot. |
