The Wrexham Open will return to the north Wales city for a third time in October 2027.

The World Tennis Tour event is the biggest women's tennis tournament to be played in the UK outside of the grass court season

Great Britain's Hannah Klugman won this year's W100 event at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre last month.

The 17-year-old defeated Elsa Jacquemot in front of a capacity crowd while fellow Brits Freya Christie and Eden Silva won the doubles final.

Next year's event will be staged between 17-24 October and promoter Dave Courteen said: "We are building a reputation for creating a tournament that enables the British players to perform at their very best."

Wales' Mimi Xu won the 2025 singles tournament and. along with Ella McDonald, also won the doubles title.
