The ball is grubber kicked through by Ben Earl and Henry Pollock flies onto it. He lands one hand on it to score. Not a bad turn of pace....

  4. 'Outstanding finish'published at 15:45 BST

    Fiji 8-42 England

    Chris Ashton
Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That's an outstanding finish. He's two feet in touch, but anticipated the tackle, jumped before it and did really well to get the ball down before his feet landed.

I don't think we've seen enough of him in this game. We are just not utilising him enough. We have to get the ball to him more.

    Fiji 3-35 England

    Chris Ashton
Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I would like to see a bit more from England, a bit more desire to shift the ball wide with Fiji having 14 men.

I want to see England really want to score some tries, to enjoy their rugby and not let this half drift by.

Take the opportunity while it's there to try some things.

England are lucky that Fiji haven’t turned up for some reason. Fiji look tired and flat-footed, maybe it was the fluke flag-post try that's frustrated them.

    Ian, Bristol

Fiji are really poor in every aspect. England are expected to win but against better opposition we crumble

    Nick, Mountsorrel

For all the points scored, this has been an average performance against a very poor Fiji side, who have been ill-disciplined and lacking in quality. This performance should not mask any of the underlying issues that still persist. Argentina will be a better barometer.

    Aran, London

Red card has put the final nail in the coffin as far as a competition is concerned. Training run-out for England now. Expect a cricket score.

    HT: Fiji 3-35 England

England have been clinical to score five tries, but Fiji have given away too many penalties. They simply have not been good enough.

Credit to Steve Borthwick's side, who can only beat the team in front of them.

Bouncing back from that tough loss against South Africa was a must.
