Wales lose wing Adams for South Africa Test

Josh Adams is fifth on Wales' all-time try chart with 25 scores

Wales have suffered a late blow for Saturday's Nations Championship game against South Africa in Durban (16:40 BST) after wing Josh Adams was ruled out with a calf injury.
Steve Tandy had selected the Cardiff back for the fixture against the world champions at Kings Park but Ellis Mee will now step into the starting line-up.
Adams did not take a full part in final preparations in Durban on Friday and was officially withdrawn from the side before the warm-up.
The wing had started all of Wales' games in 2026 and scored a poacher's try against Fiji in the opening fixture of the Nations Championship.

Mee had been set to miss out on the Springboks Test after Wales recalled wing Louis Rees-Zammit, who was on the bench for the 35-21 defeat by Argentina.
Full-back Blair Murray did not start in the Six Nations but has worn the 15 jersey in all three Nations Championship Tests and the uncapped fixture against the Barbarians.
