Leeds winger Sivo suffers suspected broken forearm

Leeds Rhinos winger Maika Sivo is expected to be out of action for "six to eight weeks" with a possible broken forearm suffered during the 42-12 victory over Bradford Bulls.

Sivo picked up the injury in attempting to make a tackle during the first half and was seen with his arm in a sling at the end of the match.

He is this season's Super League leading try scorer with 29 tries and joins captain Ash Handley, Keenan Palasia and Daniel Levi in a growing injury list at Headingley.

The league leaders have seven matches remaining of their regular campaign which ends on Friday, 11 September with the Grand Final taking place at Old Trafford on Saturday, 3 October in 10 weeks' time.

Arthur told BBC Radio Leeds after his side's victory: "Maika - he'll have scans. He'll probably be looking at a broken forearm. Plate it, six to eight weeks [out]."

Leeds' win over Bradford saw them move two points clear at the top of the Super League table.
