Uefa Conference League qualifiers Penybont have secured "significant new investment" and appointed two new directors to its board.

Penybont secured their place in Europe for a third time with victory over Haverfordwest County in the Cymru Premier Play-Off final in May.

The club said the men's first team squad, women's and girls' football pathway, improved facilities at the DragonBet Stadium the expansion of the academy and the growth of community programmes would benefit from the new investment.

The club confirmed that Ryan Paisey and David Zeeman have joined the board as directors.

"This is the most exciting moment in Penybont's history, European football, an expanded Cymru Premier League and now long-term investment to match our ambition," chairman Alan Whiteley said.

"We remain a Welsh community club at our core, and this investment is about building something sustainable for generations of Penybont supporters to come."
