Victor Torp has signed a new contract at Coventry City after the club's promotion to the Premier League.
Midfielder Torp, 26, signed from Sarpsborg 08 in January 2024 and has made more than 100 appearances and scored 17 goals.
Torp produced 10 of those strikes for the free-scoring Sky Blues as they returned to the top flight for the first time in 25 years.
The Dane faced competition in the second half of the season after the winter arrival of Frank Onyeka from Brentford, but he made a telling contribution in the closing stages of the campaign and delivered the free-kick from which Bobby Thomas equalised at Blackburn Rovers in the 1-1 draw which sealed promotion.
It was one of eight Championship assists from Torp, whose form under Frank Lampard over the course of the season did not go unnoticed and he has been handed a new deal, although the club have not specified its length.
Torp said: "I'm really proud to sign a new a contract with Coventry City. We've had an amazing season and it's a fantastic squad to be a part of.
"I will be aiming to continue contributing to the team and helping us achieve our goals.
"The support I've had from Sky Blues fans during my time here is incredible and I'm excited for the next step in our journey together in the Premier League next season."
