Essugo and Washington join Strasbourg

Chelsea have confirmed Dario Essugo will join Ligue 1 Strasbourg on loan, while striker Deivid Washington will move to the French side on a permanent transfer.
Essugo came to Stamford Bridge in June 2025 for a £18.5m fee. Last season, the midfielder featured in five games for the Blues.
Washington joined Chelsea in August 2023 for a fee worth £17.2m, but has only featured in three senior games for the west London club.
