Nottingham Forest 0-2 Leeds: What Farke and Rodon said

Leeds United boss Daniel Farke, speaking to BBC Radio Leeds: "The start of the season was not too bad for us. First and foremost, it was important to go through to the next round. We did this in a tough place. Also, we had to wait pretty long for a clean sheet in Nottingham and then to do it twice in three days is remarkable. Pretty sure they were also more motivated and a bit out for revenge today but the level of performance was decisive.

It was a well deserved win. We dominated the game more or less from the first to the last second and just compliments to the boys for the win but also for the level of performance from them."

Leeds United defender Joe Rodon, speaking to ITV Sport: "In the first half, there were a lot of good chances. We know that it's a difficult place to come, overall I'm happy to come back and win."

On Daniel James: "Injuries are a part of the game, we know what he's capable of, he showed his quality and had a great finish. We need everyone, it's a long season, the ability in the squad is unbelievable, we need everyone together.

"We want to change the mentality, grow again as a group and win as many games as we can. The signs have been top, we want to continue with this momentum into next weekend."
