Wolves sign striker Neave on loan from Newcastle

Wolves have announced the signing of young striker Sean Neave from Newcastle on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old joins the club having made two senior appearances for the Magpies this year, where he has been since the age of 13.
He signed his first professional contract for Newcastle in July 2024, and made his senior debut in the Champions League as Eddie Howe's side defeated Qarabag FK 6-1 in February.
Wolves' executive chairman Nathan Shi said he was "delighted" to have signed the England Under-19 international.
"Sean is a talented player who Cesar (Peixoto, head coach) and Matt (Jackson, technical director) both spoke to and were impressed by, and we believe he has a lot of potential to be successful with us," Shi told the club website., external
"We are delighted to welcome him to Wolves, and he will have the full support of us all.
"We already have a lot of experience in that department with Raul [Jimenez] and Adam [Armstrong], and we think signing a younger profile in Sean complements the group well for what we know will be a long and challenging Championship season."
