Saints duo continue World Cup preparations

Southampton strike duo Cyle Larin and Ross Stewart were in international action at the weekend as preparations for the World Cup ramp up.

Larin played 73 minutes for Canada in their 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland, while Stewart came on in the second half of Scotland's comprehensive 4-0 victory against Bolivia.

Here is a reminder of the groups the two Saints forwards are in and who they will face, so you can keep an eye out for them once the World Cup begins on 11 June:

  • Cyle Larin, Canada - Group B: Bosnia, Qatar and Switzerland

  • Ross Stewart, Scotland - Group C: Brazil, Morocco and Haiti
