Watford captain Mattie Pollock said his side "need to stick together as a team" after their winless streak extended to five matches in all competitions.
Saturday's narrow defeat at West Brom saw the Hornets drop to 18th in the formative Championship table.
Alessio Dionisi's side face Preston at Vicarage Road on Tuesday, before Saturday's home meeting with Stoke City.
"They're two massive games," Pollock told BBC Three Counties Radio. "We've come up short in the last two away games, so we've got to make sure we put things right in front of our crowd and get the fans with us."
Watford started the 2026-27 campaign with an impressive victory over Southampton but have drawn two and lost two from their four league games since.
A much-changed side was also beaten 5-1 by Peterborough in the EFL Cup last month.
"I'll do everything in my power to make sure the lads stick together," said Pollock, who was named Watford captain in July.
"We came up short at the weekend, but if we can start scoring goals and winning games, then it can still be an exciting season."
