Barry extend perfect start as Haverfordwest finally score

Barry Town United maintained their perfect start to the season by beating Briton Ferry Llansawel 4-1 to claim a sixth straight victory.

Last season's Nathaniel MG Cup winners retain top spot in the Cymru Premier after a hat-trick from Elliott Dugan and a sixth of the season for Owen Brain.

Teenager Ricky-Lee Owen had pulled one back for hosts Ferry before Dugan and Brain increased Barry's lead in the second half.

The New Saints beat Caernarfon 3-2 to ensure the gap to Barry remains at two points.

Goals from Ben Wilson and Rhys Hughes had Craig Harrison's charges two goals to the good before Osian Evans and former TNS great Adrian Cieslewicz hit back for Caernarfon.

Haverfordwest County ended their long wait for a goal as they beat Trefelin 2-1 at home to climb out of the bottom two into 12th place.

Tony Pennock's side did not score across their first five matches, but two goals arrived in three minutes as they beat fellow slow starters Trefelin.
