  3. Prendergast leads Ireland to first T20 World Cup win

    In case you missed it, Ireland's men aren't the only team in green who have made history over the past few days.

    On Saturday, Ireland earned their first victory at a Women's T20 World Cup, beating West Indies by six wickets in Bristol.

  4. Excellent news, Andy. While we wait, let's recap the first innings, which was all about Harry Tector and Ben Calitz.

    Tector top-scored with 53 (47) on his 100th T20I cap while Calitz smacked 37 off 23.

    Their 65-run fourth-wicket stand, coming off 44 balls, injected some energy into Ireland's innings after they had laboured to 48-3 inside eight overs.

    Ireland set India a target of 155 after posting 154-8, with Prince Yadav taking 3-22.

    We've just been told there will be a pitch inspection in about 16:25 BST.

    The rain has passed through quickly and work is underway to get the pitch back into shape again.

    The covers coming off brought the loudest cheer from the Indian supporters this afternoon. They haven't had a lot to celebrate so far.

    Hero is indeed the word to describe Jai Moondra.

    Fresh from taking 2-25 on debut, he struck twice in the opening over to remove Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma for golden ducks.

    And India found themselves 19-3 when he got Shreyas Iyer to chop onto his stumps in the third over.

    A direct hit from Ross Adair saw off Ishan Kishan as Ireland finished the powerplay with four wickets and although Axar Patel and Tilak Varma have put on 19 (19) for the fifth wicket, the hosts remain on top.

    It's coming just as the partnership of Axar Patel and Tilak Varma looks to bring some stability to the world champions, who have been rocked by the new hero of Irish cricket, Jai Moondra.

    This could be a decent delay.

    It's a much-needed over of calm for India, who start with a comfortable two off a Tilak Varma sweep and follow it up with five singles.

    It's not quite panic stations for India - the required rate has only just crept above eight an over, with 114 runs needed from 84 balls - but they do need a little Ben Calitz-esque moment to ease a bit of the pressure.

    It's a poor review. Nowhere near the stumps. The ball ran away for four leg-byes, so that's something positive for India.

    Ireland won't mind too much. They've got India four down inside the powerplay.

    It's absolute chaos out here! Incredible fielding from Ross Adair but the run was never on, particularly with the left-handed throw of Adair.

    Ishan Kishan, at the non-striker's end, wanted a single. Tilak Varma, playing to backward point, did not but didn't give the signal until Kishan was halfway down.

    Ross Adair picked it up cleanly and nailed the direct hit.

    Kishan is out for 12 (11). India are four down.

    He got his line wrong on the first delivery. The second was simply good batting, with Tilak placing it through mid-on.
