D'Arcy Short scored 82 runs and claimed four wickets as Gloucestershire defeated Yorkshire by 56 runs in their T20 Blast cross-pool match at Headingley.

Gloucestershire posted 217-6 in their innings and, despite Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth's 97 from 56 balls, the visitors eased to victory - with Short also ending the match with figures of 4-31.

Chris Lynn scored an unbeaten century as Northamptonshire maintained their 100% record with a fourth straight win - and in doing so they inflicted yet another defeat on Warwickshire, who are winless in this season's competition.

The Steelbacks successfully chased the target of 209 set by the Bears, with Lynn hitting 115 from 59 balls, as they won by six wickets.

In the South Group, leaders Hampshire defeated Middlesex by eight wickets after the visitors comfortably reached a target of 127.

Yorkshire fell to a 56-run defeat by Gloucestershire at Headingley despite Adam Lyth's knock of 97.

D'Arcy Short's 82 from 50 balls led the way with the bat for Gloucestershire and he was supported by T20 debutant Joe Phillips, who contributed 42 as the visitors finished on 217-6. Hasan Ali was the pick of the Yorkshire bowlers with figures of 3-29.

Short then did damage with the ball, dismissing Moeen Ali and Matthew Revis in successive deliveries to swing the game firmly in the Gloucestershire's favour as Yorkshire finished on 161 all out.

George Munsey's unbeaten 88 went a long way to leading Notts to victory over Durham

Nottinghamshire bounced back from their defeat by Derbyshire on Friday night with a comfortable six-wicket victory over Durham at Trent Bridge.

It was their first win of the campaign, having suffered defeats in their opening three matches, with George Munsey's unbeaten 88 steering them to victory in what proved to be a relatively straightforward chase.

Dillon Pennington removed Graham Clark with the first ball of the match and Durham's innings progressed in fits and starts from there. A number of batters in the middle order made starts, with Will Rhodes (38) and Ollie Robinson (367) the pick, but they could only muster 156-8.

Munsey hit nine fours and three sixes in Nottinghamshire's reply of 157-4 as he put on a crucial partnership of 91 with Freddie McCann to steer them to victory with 16 balls to spare.

Chris Lynn scored a 53-ball hundred for Northants at Edgbaston

Chris Lynn trumped his compatriot Beau Webster at Edgbaston as the Australian guided group leaders Northamptonshire to a six-wicket victory over Warwickshire with a terrific, unbeaten innings of 115.

The Bears won the toss and posted 208-7, thanks in no small part to Webster, who scored a T20 career-best of 97, ably assisted by captain Ed Barnard (40).

Northamptonshire's pursuit got off to a scorching start and, courtesy of openers Lynn and Ricardo Vasconcelos (27) they were 69-1 at the very end of the powerplay.

Lynn remained in place as they clinched their target with four balls to spare.

Hampshire made light work of the challenge set before them by Middlesex, who they beat comprehensively by eight wickets.

Middlesex were reduced to 33-3 in the powerplay and Chris Wood (2-20) did most of the damage when he saw off Max Holden and Josh De Caires in successive deliveries.

Only Luke Hollman, unbeaten on 47, offered any true resistance with the bat as Middlesex finished on 126-7 to set their visitors a modest target of 127.

Hampshire captain James Vince (45) and Joe Weatherley (36*) led the way in pursuit of the target, reaching 130-2 with six overs to spare.
