Wins for Hampshire, Essex and The Blaze in One-Day Cup

Orla Prendergast hit 56 off 30 balls in The Blaze's successful run chase against Warwickshire

Hampshire have gone top of the One-Day Cup table following a thrilling day of four tight finishes.
England batter Danni Wyatt-Hodge hit a stunning century for Surrey against Hampshire but finished on the losing side by 13 runs.
Elsewhere, the run out of Yorkshire's Rachel Slater off the final ball saw Durham earn a tie at Scarborough, while Essex claimed their first win and The Blaze chased down 303 to beat Warwickshire.
Wyatt-Hodge heroics not enough for Surrey
Wyatt-Hodge smashed her second century of the season but could not prevent Surrey from losing back-to-back matches.
Maia Bouchier (78) and Abi Norgrove (81 not out) had underpinned Hampshire's 272 with half-centuries.
And Bex Tyson (3-60) proved the best of the three left-arm spinners on show, despite being the only one of the trio not selected for the T20 World Cup, by taking three wickets.
England star Wyatt-Hodge almost trumped the lot with a masterful 11th career hundred but Hampshire held their nerve to win by 13 runs to remain unbeaten and knock Surrey off the top of the table.
All eyes were on Tilly Corteen-Coleman after the 18-year-old had been picked in England's T20 World Cup squad, along with the party to face New Zealand – her first international recognition.
She was immediately in the action as she bowled the first over after Hampshire had chosen to bat first, and proceeded to only go for nine runs in her first six-over spell.
The tone that Corteen-Coleman set allowed Surrey to pile on the pressure and stop Hampshire from ever looking like posting an imposing total, despite a host of starts from their top order.
Hampshire's 272-5 had looked slightly short at half-way but Surrey also struggled to find fluency on the used pitch.
Paige Scholfield was the only top order Surrey batter to score at will, striking 44 off 55 balls, but her demise sparked a collapse of four wickets in 15 balls.
At 81-6 the damage appeared to have been done, with 192 still required, but Wyatt-Hodge had other ideas by using every bit of her experience.
But having looked on course to completing a heist, she was run out for 119 with 22 still needed from 15 balls – which Hampshire defended.

Yorkshire and Durham tie thriller
Phoebe Turner and Jess Jonassen scored brilliant centuries for Durham and Yorkshire as both teams played out a thrilling tie at Scarborough, with the White Rose losing four late wickets, all run out, as they attempted to chase 291.
England A all-rounder Turner helped Durham recover from 53-4 in the east coast sunshine to post 290-8, a total also including Bess Heath's Durham best of 70 off 52 balls. Turner's 100 not out off 82 balls represented her maiden competitive century.
Australian all-rounder Jonassen then scored 104 off 109 balls, her second ton in as many games, to put the White Rose in a great position at 207-4 in the 37th over.
But four run outs, including Rachel Slater trying to scramble a single through to wicketkeeper Tahlia Wilson off the last ball from Turner, left Yorkshire 290 all out.
Grewcock steers Essex to first win
Jodi Grewcock scored her maiden professional hundred to propel Essex to a five-wicket victory over Somerset.
Arriving in the middle with the score 21-3, the in-form left hander came to the rescue with a match-winning innings of 120 not out from 116 balls, adding 106 with Jo Gardner and an unbeaten 116 with Flo Miller for the fifth and sixth wickets respectively as Essex chased down a target of 269 with 12 deliveries to spare to win for the first time this season.
Gardner posted a valuable 50 and Miller contributed 54 not out.
Alex Griffiths bowled well to claim 3-42, but lacked support as Somerset surrendered their 100% record and leadership of the table.
Making her first senior appearance in 11 months, Katie Jones top-scored with 79 from 89 balls, struck eight fours and a six, and staged stands of 73 and 76 with Anika Learoyd and Griffiths, who weighed in with 56 and 50 not out respectively as Somerset posted 268-9.
Pavely best in vain as Blaze beat Bears
Charis Pavely underlined her explosive qualities with the bat by smashing a career-best unbeaten 128 off just 102 balls but it was not enough to secure victory for Warwickshire after The Blaze smashed 105 off the final 10 overs to take the points.
After being set 303 to win, opener Marie Kelly had laid the foundations with a List A career-best 79 and England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt contributed 47 - but it was a 30-ball 56 from Ireland international Orla Prendergast which ultimately proved the match-winning knock.
She led a partnership of 69 with Georgia Elwiss (31 off 17 balls) before Blaze skipper Kirstie Gordon added to the drama, taking advantage of a missed caught-and-bowled chance by Alexa Stonehouse to run the winning single to claim victory by three wickets with four balls to spare.
Pavely, the 21-year-old left-hander whose potential has already earned her an £85,000 deal with London Spirit in this year's Hundred, hit 13 fours and five sixes, although she had luck on her side after being dropped twice just moments after passing fifty.
She shared an exhilarating 197-run partnership with Katie George, who passed her career-best mark of 80 and hit 13 fours but fell two runs short of a century, in Warwickshire's 302-5.
