Batter Kamran Dhariwal has signed a two-year contract extension with Gloucestershire.

The 21-year-old made his senior debut in May in the T20 Blast, going on to feature in 12 matches in the competition, scoring 239 runs.

Dhariwal, who came through Hampshire's academy and the South Asian Cricket Academy, is currently part of Gloucestershire's One-Day Cup squad, playing in four of their five matches so far.

His new deal with the club will allow him to continue to study medicine alongside his cricket development.
